The supermarket sells a variety of name-brand grocery items, including meats, produce, bakery items, seafood and health and beauty items. Together, the ShopRite stores form one of the largest retailer-owned cooperatives in the United States. The cooperative is comprised of 43 members who individually own and operate supermarkets under the ShopRite name. All ShopRite store owners are members of Wakefern Food Corporation, which serves as the merchandising and distribution arm of the company. Wakefern has headquarters in Elizabeth, N.J.

        My Favorite Shoprite

        This is my favorite Shop-Rite, they are very coupon friendly and also take internet coupons with no problems. They double coupons up to 0.99c and their limit is 4 identical coupons per transaction. They are a large Shop-Rite, well stocked and clean. My only small complaint is the deli is often slow if you take a number and stand in line, so I would recommend you place your deli order into the automatic machine when you enter the store and then shop and hit the deli last.
