This place is HORRIBLE and the workers there are very RUDE!!! It should have ZERO stars but I believe I have to rate it a minimum of 1 for the ratings to go through...

DIRTY place, several of the machines don't work and the workers there are very RUDE and unhelpful. Today there was only 1 worker there. I went to the desk and asked what age is considered a senior (sign says seniors get discount on drying on Tues.). His answer was an abrupt "IT's TUESDAY - todays not Tuesday!!" I asked again "What the age?" and he replied he didn't know - either 60 or 65! After my clothes were done washing, one "tie" on a hospital scrub (top) was caught in the machine. I asked if he could help me get it out (around 4:15 p.m.), and he said he didn't have time - leave it and come back tomorrow to get it. I asked him is it just a matter of taking off the spinner and he said yes. I told him I could do that and he loudly snapped at me "NO - YOU CAN'T TOUCH THE MACHINE - IT'S NOT YOUR MACHINE" ( a young Chinese guy talking to an 60+ lady like that - how rude!!) He SHUT the top of the machine with the garment inside and said pick it up tomorrow but call first. I asked how long would it take - he glaringly started and shouted 20 min - I don't have time. I asked him his name and he said Peter...I then asked who the manager was and he said HE WAS (REALLY? NOT BELIEVABLE - he previously said he didn't know what the "senior" age is (replied he didn't know - either 60 or 65!) I said I wanted to put in writing that I was leaving a garment there and asked him to sign it (didn't want it to somehow "disappear" when I came to pick it up the next day). He REFUSED and said he's not signing anything! He walked away with my clothes stuck in the machine. A couple ladies heard the commotion and came over asked me what happened - and I told them. They said they were there last night and the Chinese lady (not there today) kept following them and staring at them. They said she was very rude. I only go there once or twice a year (usually to wash blankets, etc) but I know who they were talking about. The lady IS always rude to everyone! I never saw the guy who was there today but he takes the cake in the RUDE DEPT!! This place is physically NASTY and the workers (believe they are the owners) are just as NASTY. Stay away from this place!! Go to a coin laundry that is clean that gives good customer service - there are many out there!

I used this laundromat when I lived in Allen Park a couple years ago. When suffering through the use of a different laundromat, I often think about Proclean in Lincoln Park.



Pros: Clean. Good air circulation. Non-smoking. Great hours. Good parking & ample parking. Many washers & dryers. All machines worked. Almost all were new. Almost all were front loaders. Dryers were dry & hot. An attendant was always present to help with quarters. Well lit, open layout. I always felt safe even when doing laundry late in the evening. Meijer is next door to do shopping during or after doing laundry.



Cons: The attendant was not a people person, ever.
