Hired Homebase on May 3rd they said four weeks to start the job did not start the job until July 8th that's when the nightmare began! They put the sink in the wrong spot they gave us the wrong vanity cabinet they wrecked our wall in our bathroom Todd came out he said they'll that's all the damage they did. My husband had to fix the wall the toilet leaked it was crooked the tub had chips in it and scratched on the outside the vanities were chipped and brought the wrong vanity they ordered another and if they took three weeks would you believe when they came and tore everything up they had the wrong one again oh yes and the next day they came still wrong 1 but we said okay and they broke the other one I was so upset and Todd said oh don't be upset I can fix it the the countertop will cover it up! I wasn't paying for broke up chipped up poor quality work and products when my husband went to tell him what was wrong he asked if we were taking a magnifying glass to find problems he also said that some people you just cannot make happy ever had a problem with any other company ever he said he is very professional I disagree he said it wasn't Homebase work will whose was it then the only thing right on our bathroom was the bathroom floor after waiting three weeks for a new tub we've had enough we didn't want him back here so we terminated our contract with him cuz we didn't want more things broke or destroyed Todd blamed everything on the people he order things to to his son-in-law who we signed with which later resigned from the company because he doesn't get along with his father-in-law I recommend you do not hire this company as they are not professional and as they were going to get the child they said we would have to wait another four weeks once it came in after waiting 3 weeks and it's still not in to be fit in are you kidding me fit in you haven't finished the project here you shouldn't be hitting us and from your other projects that is a very rude and arrogant man

This company tried to skip steps in replacing new flashing around my chimney "Chimney and Roof Repair" title on contract. There were 8 steps on the contract - Home Base started at #7 putting up the counter-flashing to cover-up the mess the previous hired company made instead of starting at step #1. #1 Remove shingles and flashing around chimney #2 Remove shingles between the ridge and chimney. #3 Construct small saddle to deflect water away from chimney and main ridge & Replace any bad wood around repair. #4 Install galvanized sub flashing #5 Apply new Ice Guard to saddle and chimney. #6 Apply new shingles: Matching existing. #7 Apply new counter flashing around chimney. #8 Clean up and haul away job debris. When I told the man who was suppose to do #7, Aren't you suppose to build a saddle and tear off the old stuff first? He told me his work order from Home Base stated only to "Apply counter flashing" which I did see. He said, "I shouldn't even be here then" " I'm only the counter flashing sliding man" "The roofers should be here not me" so he showed me his work order and left. Next day, the roofers stopped by late 6:30 pm to get a color check on the shingles and left and told me they'd be back. Next morning around 10:00 am the roofers showed up and started at #3 and put a saddle right over all the old messed-up stuff instead of starting at #1 Remove shingles and flashing... and #2 Remove shingles from between ridge and chimney. And replacing any bad wood around repair. I called my attorney and he told me not to give them any more money unless they did what the contract stated. So now, I have a horrific mess still around my chimney. Waiting for Todd the owner of Home Base to do RIGHT by his customers by doing what they agreed to do on their contracts. Very upsetting to think there are people like this out there taking advantage of people! Just because I'm a WOMAN & SENIOR doesn't mean I do not know what they are trying to get away with. Stay clear of Home Base Inc.

I decided to give this company a chance after reading the negative reviews. I should've listened to the reviews..I called multiple times to get someone to come out and get an estimate. Finally Todd's son in law comes out to do estimate. He said he would have estimate done within a few days. I waited a week & called. I called 5x (son in law) to get estimate. Home Base was suppose to do my kitchen (a very small job less than 5,000). I finally called Todd to see if they even wanted my job & what was going on. He went over estimate & son in law left out most of the things he was suppose to do for kitchen. Todd told me that his son in law didn't think Home Base would want to do the job.( I'm guessing since it was such a small job). Todd said he would come & redo the estimate himself. He did come out & do estimate which added on extra costs that son in law "forgot" to add to estimate. SMH!



I was told since it was such a small job that it would take 1-2 days to complete & that they would fit me into the schedule since it was so small. I waited a month after cabinets were ordered & called Todd. He told me to call him back next week to see about putting me into the schedule.I called every week for a month straight getting the same BS excuse about not being able to fit me in & to call back the following week. I knew he was blowing me off for bigger & more expensive jobs since he wasn't making much money off of my kitchen. I finally got tired of his flippin excuses & told him I wanted to buy the cabinets & have someone more reliable to do the job.



I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE HOME BASE EVER!! THEY ARE A INCOMPENTANT COMPANY. I SHOULD'VE WENT WITH MY 1ST INSTINCT WHEN I READ HORRIBLE REVIEWS ONLINE ABOUT THEM.1ST STIRKE~ THEN WHEN SON IN LAW DIDNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT HE WAS DOING. AND DIDN'T BOTHER TO CALL ME BACK AFTER HE GOT 5 MESSAGES FROM ME. 2ND STRIKE. AND FINALLY WHEN TODD THE OWNER BLOWS ME OFF FOR 4 WEEKS!! -3RD STRIKE!!



I've read other responses from Todd responding back to the negative reviews people gave & he states that those people were disgruntled employees that use to work for him. I am not an employee just a single mom who wanted to help a local business
