My family and I ate there while we were on a little weekend get away. The food was awesome and the service was great. However I picked up the tab using my debt card and when I got home and checked my online banking there was two charges pending from there one the cost of the bill and one the cost of the bill with the tip. So I called my bank and Texas Toast and they both told me only the one with the tip should actually post. Which is fine except that meant the other amount got held in limbo until it finally went away 5 days later. This was a rare exception that there was money in my account to cover it other wise I may have been charged an over withdrawel fee. Or say if I used the money somewhere else thinking I had it. Anyway save yourself the hassel and bring cash.
Sunny Day Diner makes everything from scratch without cutting corners. Everything is wonderful and they offer several unique dishes. Seating is very limited, so good to plan ahead and arrive early. A special mountain treat!
Best food and nicest staff will eat there every time I'm in town. Every body should have breakfast there tomorrow.
