Have I found a few great furniture items here? Yes. Do I trust these people as far as I could throw them? No. I haggled on a vintage sectional and got a great price from a young-ish associate. I watched him tag the two pieces SOLD and said I'd be back the next day with a pickup. When I returned, the pieces were no longer on the showroom. The owner said gosh he was sorry, but BOTH tags must have come off and someone else must have purchased the set. What really happened? He thought the guy who sold them gave me too good of a deal, and he kept them to sell for more. The owner was a jerk about it, too. If you like it and can pick it up and carry it away with you, go for it. If you have to trust these people to do anything for you as part of the transaction, run away.
You tell them a price you are expecting for an item you are selling them (350-400) and the man on the phone says ok we'll pick it up saturday, then 2 weeks later they call and tell you they will give you 15-20% (60.00) of the price you discussed when they could sell it for 2x the original price discussed (800 for the same thing on their sales floor). When they bring it back it is severely damaged (scratched and scuffed to the primer on the paint and gouged on materials that are not repairable unless replaced). Be very careful with these crooks!

Provided by SuperpagesWe have been shopping with them for at least 6 years. They are our "go to" whenever we need appliances. We have bought stoves, washers, apartment size dryers, refrigerators and several chest and upright deep freezes not only for us but for others. They ALWAYS give us a great deal, WONDERFUL customer service, even taking our name when we can't find exactly what we want and call us as soon as they get in what we were looking for. If we have a problem with something not working correctly, they are VERY helpful, and have even replaced them for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Wow this place is a joke! My husband bought me a washing machine from this guy when mine stopped spinning. We brought it home hooked it up and the hoses started spraying water all over the place , so we hooked up the good hoses we had and started a load. When the machine reached spin cycle my house filled with smoke and it smelled like burning rubber and the machine would not spin. So now not only do I have a pile of soaking wet clothes on my floor and a van full of stinking water that leaked out when we loaded it but then they wanted us to WAIT until they could fix it instead of giving us our $ back! After freaking out like a crazy person my husband got his money back and we will be going elsewhere.

When they re-delivered it, the problem wasn't solved, they brought it back with quite a bit more cosmetic damage than it originally had, and they tore up the linoleum in the laundry room. They also let the cat out of the house and didn't show up when they were scheduled. Salvage Warehouse then told us that the frame was warped and wouldn't be repairable at all, and in fact would end up dying completely within a few years, and offered us a $100 store credit. When we turned that down, they said they'd look for a comparable replacement. They offered us a couple of washers that were about $1000 less original retail value than what we bought. When we finally insisted on a refund, they agreed after a week of trying to get a hold of the manager. The kicker was that they intend to resell the washer for about $100 less without mentioning that it will die. Avoid!
