Linc Care

I had two visits. The first one was very good. I had a mild condition that was causing problems at work. My symptoms were easily relieved and my job was saved, since they were about to fire me. Years later I had another problem and was so happy to find the same doctor! My condition was serious, so I told them that I might not make it. They wanted their fee up front. After crying, I gave them all I had. My vitals were taken and then they gave me a diagnosis that I knew was wrong. I was unable to eat for days already and unable to keep meds down. I asked for lab tests to be done, but was told that I couldn't afford that. I went home crying and feeling like I was robbed for the last time before I die. This ordeal would take food out of my boyfriends mouth too, Shortly afterwards, I was in the hospital, for three weeks, fighting for my life with a severe case of ulcers. Then, I got a bill from Urgent care after having been misdiagnosed by them! I refused to pay it.

I recently went to a Linc Care. The receptionist was fantastic and very nice. The rest of the staff? I felt like they just rushed me in and out. I know it is 'Urgent' care, but does that word stand for the visit time? They dimissed me quickly, without even taking a swab of the correct area. They said it was just a cold and said if it persisted go to your regular doctor. They must not have reviewed my chart, my regular doctor is 3+ hours away. They could have suggested a doctor's office at the very least. Now I'm stuck in bed (having to take work and class off) with Influenza A. Yeah, that's right I went to a REAL doctor. Don't make the same mistake. I wish they could have spent more time on me as a patient and acted like they cared for my well-being.
