Worst Salesmen Experience Awarded to Husker Auto Group

Never felt more taken advantaged of! Not accommodating in the least to any of our needs, just in it for the sale and weaseling every last dime out of you. If you ever want to talk to sales manager don't expect a call back, called twice and was assured we'd receive a call back regarding our recent purchase and no one followed up on it. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone

eBay and out of state buyers beware. They messed up my paper work 2 years ago and I still have not received my registration. My business partner also bought a 7 series at same time and had same issue. After sale if you have issues they will ignore your emails and calls. Dealt mainly with the online sales manager. Called me a lair for asking them to help me get car registered. If I go to dmv and they have no record of car, how can I register myself. I don't have the title. Now car is towed and they still don't want to help. The dealer just keep saying it's my fault and just deal with dmv. They have decent lease prices but the worst service on any big chain dealerships I've ever been too. Not worth saving small amount for headaches. Please read all the other reviews. The worst.

Overall

I found a 2002 BMW 330ci on the internet that had just been taken in by your dealership a few weeks ago. I contacted a sales person named Tanner Finkhouse and discussed this car with him. It had just been brought in and pictures or cleaning hadn’t even been done on it. The car only had 35000 miles on it and Tanner told me he would find out more about it and call me back as I live South of Denver in Colorado. The car was in the service department being looked over and having an alternator replaced on it. I had conversations with Tanner about the condition and general state of the car and he told me he could only find 5 dents in the roof and trunk areas and the car had been checked out by BMW and it is as close to new as can be with only 35000 miles on it. You were asking $13800 and I told him I would purchase it at that as a total out the door price. Good for you guys. I noticed some dash lights on and asked him to make sure that no service lights or any dash warning lights were on. He said the rear brakes needed to be replaced and that the car may have had some hail on it. I asked him to fix the problems and make sure it had a service done as I had a 500 mile plus drive home and he said he would.

I flew into town and he was kind enough to pick me up at the airport and drive me to your dealership. He told me there was good news and bad news. Good news you put new tires on the car as the old ones were causing it to drive funny. Bad news you didn’t get the dents out of the trunk lid. I said that was fine and we proceeded to your dealership. At the dealership I was able to see the car. Not bad but not exactly as described, the carpet had stains in it, the car had been washed but not waxed for some time, the seatbelt light wouldn’t go out, the console lid was broken but all stuff that I was willing to take care of.

On the drive home I noticed the brakes acted funny when you stopped. After arriving home the service engine light was on along with the seat belt light.

Here is what I I found out….

The front control arms, bushings and ball joints were all shot.

The cam position sensor was bad.

The thermostat was bad and would never close and would throw the code for slow warm up

The driver’s seat belt was bad causing the light to stay on

The trunk lights didn’t work because the wiring harness was broken

The new brakes you installed squeak non stop

And what frustrated me the most was there was no oil change done. When I went to do an oil change, as I have lost faith in your word, it was found that the oil was black, and the filter was crushed, damaged and stuck to the housing. It had to be cut to remove it. The oil had not been changed in some time.

Control arms, bushings, ball joints and alignment $950

Can position sensor $220

Thermostat $225

Seat belt $210

Wiring harness repair $80

Oil change $75

I sent Tanner and email about all of this and never heard back from him. I asked why should I have taken a BMW being sold at a BMW dealership to another BMW shop to have it inspected? I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of inspection on a car that is a BMW being sold by a BMW dealership. When the tires were replaced as they tighten the lugs you can see the tires move because of the bad bushings. It is a sad state when you cannot trust the dealer.

2 weeks later and still no reply from them.

My GMC truck was having troubl...

My GMC truck was having trouble starting so I had it towed to Husker Auto figuring since they are a dealer they would fix it right. First they replaced parts in the distributer and charged me $150 plus the tow. I got home alright but the next day it wouldn't start again so another tow to Husker Auto where they replaced the whole distributer for another $300 plus the tow. Got home and sure enough it wouldn't start so another tow to Husker, this time they kept it for a couple of weeks starting it every day they claimed with no problems. I went and picked it up and sure enough it wouldn't start sometimes and would die while driving. I got a Chilton's repair manual from the library and started checking wires and connections. Everything was fine except the ignition computer box under the front seat had some rust on it. Out of frustration I bought a new computer for $70 from a parts store, plugged it in and the ol truck has been running like a champ ever since. I wouldn't trust them with a bicycle and their service guarantee is worthless.

All Over the Net--Sloppy and Dishonest

Seems like I'm finding reviews like this abound. Unfortunately, we were sucker punched as well by BMW of Lincoln--from top to bottom. Expect to wait hours and to get passed around until the last minutes, just before closing (our experience was 8+ hours). Expect circular talk.
