Dr. Helen Chandler Fure, OD

This is a great office. The care from Dr. Fure is always top-notch. She listens to concerns, explains conditions and procedures in a manner that's easy to understand, and she has always recommended products that suit my needs. Her office staff is also excellent. My insurance will only pay for one visit every 365 days. Even though I thought I had scheduled an appointment after the one year mark, the Lexington Eye Care staff checked with my insurance before my appointment. It turns out that insurance wouldn't cover the visit unless I waited four days. So the office called me to reschedule, preventing me from having to pay for the visit out of pocket. In reality, making sure the visit will be covered is MY responsibility. Dr. Fure's staff went out of their way to make sure the visit would be covered, and that's one reason I'll continue to use them for my eye care.
