North Davidson Veterinary Hospital

North Davidson Veterinary Hospital are extremely helpful, efficient and conscientious in providing us the very finest in total care for our pups. Dr. Schmunk is legendary in his personal commitment to save animals at his hospital. I have found the entire staff to be wonderful in their efforts to help me keep my dogs healthy. And he guides this hospital of efficiency to be far more reasonable in fees/charges.

This place has changed for the worse. I went there 2 straight days/ 4.5 hour wait time the first and 1.5 hours just to pick up an animal that was ready. Everyone in the lobby were complaining, 1 guy said he was there 5 hours already.The vet, techs are very good and polite. The front desk staff are rude and condescending. They need a course on how to deal with the public.

been going there since 1989. today 2-4-2016 i go to get ivermectin heartworm medicine. they said i have to bring the dog and have him checked. 1st time since 1989 this has happened. another expense. still cheaper than other vets, but the same easy, very reasonable vets office it was until this year, for me anyway. prices overall have went way up. at 1 time 5 stars, 3 is the best i can give now. 1st timers may want to see another vet if you can.

I am currently being drug through the court system for north davidson vet performing a minor surgery on my cat which as a result ended with my cat deceased I will NOT go back to north davidson vet nor would I recommend it to anyone.. 600 dollars for them to kill my cat. I can't seem to justify the situation to say the least!

I have always used Doc. Shumcnk for a very long time that I can't think of the first time I went there but I have always been treated with great respect and the girls were very courtesy too. But Doc Shumcnk always took great care of all my Shar Pei when I had a problem with one and I don't see how he stays in business with the prices he charges but he does stay really busy as a beaver so I hope that this help anyone looking for a great Vet. That you will give him a try.

The Vet is very smart and he cares a lot... On the other hand, the wait time is rediculous. The technicians are sweet and caring too, but waiting forever is not my forte...

Great staff and great doctor. I have always received wonderful service. Very pleased with everyone and everything...

The admin staff are almost universally condescending, and downright hostile... It's quite common to wait for half an hour or more for routine, OTC meds, such as wormer and flea meds.

the administrative staff are, for the most part, very unfriendly, bordering on hostile. Normally, there's a long wait, which isn't a big deal if you're bringing a pet for treatment. HOWEVER, on many occasions I've had to wait a half hour or more just to pick up wormer or flea medication! It honestly seems as though the staff out front relish making people wait ridiculously long times for completely routine (and, OTC) medicine...

This place actually does care about TREATING THE ANIMAL and the well being of the animal. When most places worry about getting into your wallet first.... then animal second.

You may have to wait, but it is worth it. I have went to Jim's for as long as I can remember. Great prices, but not so friendly staff.
