I called USAA and they hired this company to bring my 9 month pregnant wife and the 2 kids gas on the side of the road. They took more than 30 minutes to start bringing her gas because their driver in Austin, TX was helping someone else. She was located on Southwest Pkwy between 71 and Barton Creek Blvd going Eastbound, which she told the driver. No one ever came. She tried to call the driver and he didn't answer his phone. I called and found out that he "spent 30 minutes looking for her" and then "he had other people to help." I told him, that they needed to hire better people and their guy was an idiot if he couldn't find someone on the side of the road. Although didn't know it at the time, I'm speaking to the manager, "Kenneth," who is in Kentucky at this time. He says, "Yeah, I'm sure it's my drivers fault that your wife can't tell him where she is." I blew up, and told him to lose his "f**ing pride." He said the call was over and hung up. I called USAA back and told them what happened, they apologized for the poor customer service and said that was the type of thing they needed to know and she sent a different company, "Auto Medic Roadside II." I called Kenneth back and he said the next higher up person from him was the owner, I asked him to leave a not for the owner to call me. He refunded my $5 for gas, and ignorantly kept talking about how he knew his driver in Austin, TX and that he was a very hard worker. I did my best to express to him that he didn't understand customer etiquette, as he tried to meaninglessly power through the reasons why he felt their company was at no fault what so ever and that driver in Austin was beyond reproach. The second company that USAA sent made it in 20 minutes, the guy said it was really easy to find her. She was on a green back drop on the side of the highway.
Terrible, prideful, rude customer service. And, they left a pregnant woman on the side of the highway after 30 minutes of looking, which Kenneth said was a very long time in that industry. They didn't even call her back to tell her to call someone else for customer assistance, they just left her there.
I called these guys for a tire change. First they send a person who cant do it and when I asked for refund. The guy yells at me and even called me an idiot. I asked for a refund and they said they ll pay me back half of it, and it has been a week, they havent posted it.. Everytime I call they behave very rudely like hanging up the phone on me and keep saying the owner will call me.. I m very tempted to file a formal complaint over these guys..
