Maria's food is outstanding, authentic, and inexpensive. I love her cooking. If you love Mexican food, you gotta go. I do about 3x per week. There are picnic tables out front during warm months, but the building is an old Tasty Freeze or Dairy Queen so there is just a window to order/pickup from. Of course in winter it's a to-go only situation. Maria is typically who will take and make your order, especially in the winter months when business is naturally slower. During those months, I personally call my orders in 10 minutes before I'll be there instead of ordering at the window and sitting in my vehicle. You're always greeted with a friendly "Bueno" when you call. In summer there is no need to call, and she has a few employees who are also very nice. Platters are $7, burritos are $2. About 6-7 meat selections... barbacoa, carne asada, pollo, asado verde & rojo, etc.. and some vegetarian options. not to mention the sauces have really good flavor.
This a the best restuarant in the country bar none. The food is very good so when ever my family is out of town we try to choose a place that have a chaddars near by. I'm trying to get others to try it because i know they will be like McAuthur they will return. I'm from michigan, and the only one I know of is in Lansing which is about 90miles away. So please try to get one in either (Farmington Hills,W. Bloomfield,Livonia or Canton Michigan) Keep me up dated Thanks.
If you're in Lexington, KY and are hungry for a GOOD steak, thre is only one place to go: Malone's of Hamburg. Their steaks are always tender, tasty and cooked just the way you want them. The atmosphere is upbeat but not noisy and the service is impeccable. The wine list is quit extensive and has something to please almost anyone's palate. The only drawback is the price, after all it isn't the "Roadkill Steakhouse".
