J Butler's Bar & Grille

My husband and I have lived in Clemmons/Lewisville for yrs. There are not a lot of places in our area to eat outside, but most of what we have is pretty good. Several years ago when J Butlers came in the area we were so happy to have a bar/grill to eat at in with their large patio area for lunch or dinner. At first it was a great place to eat and have a few beers in the afternoon. BUT, it has gone down hill over the years with DRUNKS ! They allow 100% DRUNKS to come in and drink all afternoon at the patio and bar. By the time normal people come in to have dinner you are dealing with the DRUNKS. Today we went to have a quick dinner, but got a SHOW with it !. First we watched a man and woman fight, 2nd a woman and woman punch each other and then a NUT case drive around the restaurant on a bike mad because the mgr. made him leave for being a DRUNK in front of all the customers. The customers were asking for the mgr. or staff to PLEASE call the police, but the staff was asking for the customers to call 911. This is not the first time we have seen this at J Butler's over the years. They allow people to drink all afternoon and sleep or pass out on the bar. We really hate this because there are not many restaurants in Clemmons/Lewisville area that you can eat out side and have a drink on nice days. The staff does the best they can, but the mgr. and owner needs to redo the WHOLE place. Get the drunks out, clean the place up and make it family friendly again. I would not take kids, family, friends and good people to this place to eat unless you enjoy watching DRUNK people act like kids and worry if you may get trapped into a bad situation. STAY ALWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNTIL it cleans house and allows good people to have a nice dinner at 5:30 !
