General Info

The Lenoir Police Department is operated by the government of Lenoir in North Carolina. The department offers public safety, patrolling and law enforcement services. Its operations division conducts crime prevention and law enforcement activities. The Lenoir Police Department also provides criminal investigations, school programs, evidence collection, custody, control, traffic enforcement and highway safety services. The department works in association with Drug Abuse Resistance Education, which is a program that educates children about the harmful effects of drugs and violence. It also offers counseling and mentoring services for students and senior citizens. The department features a support services division that provides emergency 911 services for police, medical, fire and rescue needs. The division also oversees records management, logistics, financial responsibility, parking enforcement and training programs. It generates crime analysis, trend assessment, and mapping for the members of the department and public.
