Fayette Homecare and Hospice

My father was released from Uniontown hospital 2.5 weeks ago into care under this hospice. They are servicing him, but not my mother. She's asked for guidance and help and they said it will take several weeks, and the one nurse told her nothing is available. My understanding of hospice care is also for the caregiver to become a wife again, and they are to provide resources and counseling to help her in the slow death of my father. I haven't seen anything from them, and am extremely disappointed. The nurses are nice to her and us, but they don't seem to know how to provide beyond the patients scope of care. VERY disappointing.

fayette homecare and hospice was recommended to me by the palliative care nurse at the uniontown hospital. When I first sat down with the hospice team they were there boy! When my wife passed on Nov. 12, 2012 no one from hospice contacted me. No One! Not even the palliative care nurse! And when I came to the hospital after they called me to tell me my wife had passed, not one nurse at the uniontown hospital came over to talk to me! NOT ONE! Hospice told me they offered services to the family even after your loved one passes. Where are they? I'm still waiting to hear! No caring, no support, no offers of condolences, NOTHING! This is a hospice?
