I had sewage backed up in my basement and my home warranty sent me to B &amp; L Plumming. They had someone out the same day and fixed my problem quickly and the guy was very polite, and made sure that he cleaned his mess and explained what casued the back up before they left. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family!!
B and L Plumbing installed a new water heater and fixed a leak in my upstairs bathroom. They did a great job. They were professional, fair and reasonable. They cleaned up after the job. I will use them again.
B and L Plumbing has been out to my house 4 times now. They are fast, fair and professional. My home is about 20 years old and I have had to replace faucets and other leaks. It is nice to work with a plumbing company that is going to be honest and give me a fair price and excellent work.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are greedy, overpriced and incompetent. On Dec. 7th they charged $729 for two hours of work. They said I didn't have a leak, when in fact another plumber was called and I did have a leak. Bill and Lisa are the owners. We appealed to them that my mom (it is her house) was 74 on a fixed income my dad had just died. We were fixing the house to sale. My mom didn't know anything about plumbing. The other plumber charged $210 for two hours of work and did fix the problem. I appealed to bill and lisa and asked if they could help mom out as they were the owners and the money was going directly to them. They offered us a $75 credit. Bill says he is a &amp;quot;Master plumber&amp;quot;. I have a problem with that as he couldn't diagnose and fix our leak. They were completely unsympathetic to our situation. How they manage to stay iin business is beyond me.
The technician came out and fixed our faucet and then gave me some honest feedback on how I could easily fix a leaking toilet valve. He gave up some current revenue, but I will be calling B &amp; L Plumbing next time I need service for sure. I will also refer them to any friends or family in need of service.

After an excruciating experience with another plumbing company, my home warranty company redirected my service call to B&amp;L Plumbing. The plumber who came out, Justin Thompson, was professional, courteous, on time, and skillful. This guy got it all done, and the whole experience was very very positive. Dispatcher &quot;Mary&quot; is also quite delightful.
I'd recommend this plumbing company 100%.

B&amp;L recently came to my home and installed a new water line to a new sink in my basement. Over the years, they have installed 3 new more efficient toilets for me, replaced my hot water dispenser, installed a thermal expansion tank on my hot water heater, replaced/repaired control valve on water heater and various other projects that I requested. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and being a company that does what they say they are going to do.
Do not use this company. I had clogged pipes and had someone from B&amp;L plumbing come to my house. They used a snake and unclogged only a little part of the problem spot. The very next day I had the same plumbing problem. For over 3 days I could not use my bathroom of B&amp;L. They were also suppose to look at my water heater and totally misdiagnosed the problem. I actually had to pay another plumber to come out and find a gas leak. I HAD A GAS LEAK and B&amp;L did not take the time to properly diagnose the problem. I am never using this company again and advise other people to stay away from this company. Don't waste your money on this company because the problem will not solved.
We appreciate any and all feedback, so that we can improve our customer service. In fact, we received national recognition for outstanding customer service in 2010. Unfortunately this homeowner did not contact us regarding their concerns, and thus we have not been given an opportunity to address them. Satisfied customers are always our goal. We would have gladly worked with this homeowner to take care of their needs had they chosen to make us aware of this situation.
I recently moved into my first home, and experienced one of the down falls...no maintence man. My realtor suggested B&amp;L Plumbing. My experience was great from my first experience with the office to the plumber leaving my home. They were able to fit me in that day and I greatly appreciated that they call before they come. The plumber was very friendly and didn't make me feel stupid when asking him ALL of my many questions, (grateful they don't charge by the question...LOL). Thank you B&amp;L Plumbing for making my first experience calling a plumber a great one!!!!!
I'm unable to go into details as the problem is still lingering, but our complaints are serious and I want others to be very, very careful and not run into the same costly issues. The plumbers who came and re-fixed the original problem were United Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and they were the 2010 winners of the Ethics in Business award in Kansas City--I highly recommend them. We should have used them to begin with, but this is what trying to save a buck got us. Normally, I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for, but we most certainly did not get what we paid for. Lots of finger pointing about the error being with the home inspection company or the warrenty company, but when our living room floods after 60 showers in the upstairs bathroom....well, you get the picture.
B & L Plumbing Service was sent out by a home warranty company as a third party to service this customer. B & L Plumbing Service reported our findings to them and the home warranty company made the decision to deny the claim. We understood the customer's frustration and worked on their behalf to have this claim reviewed. Ultimately the denial was overturned and the homeowner was reimbursed by the home warranty company for out of pocket expenses.
I had one of the technicians out from B &amp;amp; L Plumbing Service last week. He was clean cut, very nice and informative. He took care of all my problems. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends. Thank you B &amp;amp; L Plumbing, you have a client for life. :)
When Robertson's Plumbing out of Liberty, MO, would not complete their job, we hired B&amp;L plumbing. They were pricey, but came in a couple days and did a great job!
I called B&amp;amp;L to service a problem drain at a rental property I owned. They kindly arranged with the tenant when to visit, called me before any work done with an thorough explanation and estimate, and performed the work after I gave them the OK, all at a reasonable price. Honesty and integrity showed through without even meeting these folks. I appreciate their professional approach and will use them again if needed.
I have used B &amp;amp; L for a couple of years now. They have replaced two water heaters, did the gas line for my new stove, re attached my kitchen sink after new countertops where put in and replaced my sump pump. I look forward to their visit to attach a natural gas line for my BBQ. The only complaint is they don't always take the broken parts with them when they leave. They don't treat woman like they are stupid and they are always willing to answer any questions you may have. I have always found them to be very nice and hard working. If Bill or Lisa see you away from the job, whether in the store in eating dinner, they always make a point to stop and say HI to you. Bill and Lisa are the best!
I have had them out twice to repair various sump pump and drain lines issues. They are very professional and do a great job!
