Sum Yan

Went here today with my wife to see if anything had changed. Had the buffet. This was around 1pm and not that many people there. The egg rolls and other fried item were all gone and 3 of the other entrees were all most gone. 3 or 4 items per warming tray. This is how it went the whole time we were there. They would put a little in and in a few minutes it was gone. We sat there waiting for items to come. I never did get an egg roll.

When I went to pay the owner asked did you write on the web. At first I did not know what he was talking about. It had been about 2 years earlier I was there and he came to our table and complained about the food we left on the plate. I was there with friends and could not believe he said that. So I wrote a review about that.

So today he told me "remove review or not come back" .

Well I'm not removing review and now writing this update. Don't worry I will not be back and will let every one I know of your rudeness and lack of food in your buffet.

You cannot go here without getting, mother's chicken and the sizzling platter. these are THE two best dishes they have and I have tried a lot. So of you want an amazing food experience, get these dishes!!!

I invited my son out to lunch with me and my wife. We had the buffet.

They had large tortilla wrapped cream cheese things that were 3 in.x 3in. with about a pea sized piece of cream cheese and fried. These things were really greasy. We took off the large flowery part and ate the middle with the cheese.

Then we tried everything some of the stuff was too hot (spicy) so we did not eat that. I went back and got some more chow mein but this was different from the first batch. It was all fried noodles . I ate a small amount of that and did not care for it, and leaving the rest.

Then the male owner (Sam) came over and asked if we were done. We said we were. He looked at our plates with the remaining unwanted food and asked if we were going to waste this food. I could not believe it. He then told us next time he was going to charge us more and then just kept going on and on about the food on the plates.

I never said a word to the guy! He finely told us never to come back. This was at 12:30 lunch rush. How embarrassing!

There was not that much food wasted.

He did not need to tell me not to come back! I will never set foot in that door again!

And I suggest that if you do not want to pay to get yelled at, stay away also!(or clean your plate)

Who knows he may yell at you for taking too much.

they have $4.50 lunch specials until 3pm. Good with high quality veggies in generous amounts.

they arent quite as good as they were before they had the lunch buffet. But still really good.

If you like hot food(I do)-when they say something is hot it actually is.

the best chinese in Lebanon in my opinion.
