My husband and I bought a home in Oak Pointe last year and are so glad we decided to make the move. We have lived in Lawton for almost 15 years now and have never seen anything else in the city like The Oaks. I was content where we were living and thought it would be our retirement home if we made the necessary updates. One afternoon we decided to go look at The Oaks homes to get some remodeling ideas for our current home. When we saw the homes we were blown away by the attention to detail and the floor plans. We went home and still considered remodeling our home but realized that by the time we spent the money it would take to bring our old house up to our standards we could almost buy a new home and get exactly what we want. We were also impressed with the fact that the builder, Ron Nance builds the homes so that they are “minimally accessible”. This means that there is a path to the front door without a step and at least the master bedroom and bathroom are wheelchair accessible. The doorways are wider and the showers are seamless entry without a lip to step over to enter. We knew this was something we could never do in our old house. We loved this concept. We are still young but in the event we ever come to a point in our lives we are in a wheelchair we will not have to leave our house. We love that Ron Nance truly thought about the functionality of the home as well as the beauty! Since moving in we have loved every moment of it. We love the quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors and beautiful lake at the entrance of the neighborhood. Ron Nance and his daughter Whitney were a joy to work with as well as the entire Oaks team. Greg has responded to any warranty claims we have had in less than a day. The company has gone above and beyond to make sure everything in our home is taken care of. We have been impressed with the quality of construction and how quiet our home is inside. We were also blown away by how low our utility bills have been. We moved from a house almost half the size and our bills have been lower than they were in our old house! This shows the level of energy efficient features put on our home. You truly get what you pay for with an Oaks home. There are a lot cheap homes out there that will cost you in the long run. Our friends and family are blown away everytime they come into our home. We are so thankful that we made the move when we did and would highly recommend The Oaks Development Company to any family member or friend!

I would give this guy 5 stars he works hard and does good work but he promised to repair the tracks of a cement truck his brother allowed to drive through my yard (instead of using the driveway 5ft over) and never did. He also ran a gas pipe from a gas fireplace inside to outside for an outdoor fireplace/grill which required removing a brick. He never came back to fix that either after repeated requests so I have a missing brick in the bottom of my fireplace I hide behind a Klipsh tower speaker.
Bottom Line - Sheffield Painting is one of the most reliable painting companies in the Lawton area. They have done work at the Olive Garden, Ft. Sill, and many residential homes. I know them personally and can say that Marty & Geri are people of integrity, and are sticklers when it comes to attention to detail. You may find another painter that offers a slightly lower price, but you won’t find another company that will treat your home as if it was theirs. Barry Bond Lawton, OK
