Oh so good

I've been lucky to get to eat all over the world, frequently on other people's money but this is the place where I choose to spend my own. Consistently excellent food with wonderful yet non-intrusive service -- save room for dessert (home made by Carol, the owner). The menu offers something for everyone but pay attention to the specials because they truly are special. I recently had a dinner party for 30 and was amazed at the attention to detail. It was a pleasure. A special menu, good wine, great service, at a fair price - what more can one ask for. Enjoy!

Delicious and Fun
We have eaten at Fra Diavolo many times and take exception to the sole review listed above. The wait staff is always courteous and read to please in whatever way they can. The restaurant is small so it does sometimes get noisy. However, I find that to be part of the fun of the experience of dining there. The food is delicious and prepared by wonderful chef Diego. Perhaps the fact that you ate there on Christmas, made the experience unpleasant for you. The waiters and Management (Carol) cannot tell a table to shut up, especially when they are having fun on a holiday. Perhaps if you need quiet, you should eat at home.

From the appetizers through desserts, everything they serve you is of the highest quality and freshly made. The staff is very friendly and accomodating you will enjoy dining here, definately our favorite.

Noisy Customers
Had the very unpleasant experience of being at Fra Diavolo Christmas Eve. The table next to us was very, very loud and rude. Mgm't did nothing to quiet the table. A very expensive evening was a nightmare because of the indifference shown by the mgm't and staff of this restaurant. I will not return.

I was very surprised that Fra Diavolo's rating was so low. Two years ago I hosted my first Family Reunion. I was new to Ft. Lauderdale and had no clue what resturant to use that would not only accomodate my group, but would offer good food, good service and a a decent price. Upon a reccomendation we went to Far Diavolo's. Two years later and all who attended the dinner are still talking about it. The food was not just great, it was excellent!

This place came highly recommended. It pretty much is average. Nestled in a lovely shopping center between Pet Supermarket and a strip joint. The food was OK, nothing knocked me off my feet whatsoever. Pricey for just ""OK"" food. Good service and a cute place though.
