We are from Mississippi, we saw this sports bar on the food network. So when we went to Las Vegas, we took our daughter and family to eat here a couple of weeks ago. The outside is nothing to write home about. The people inside were very friendly. Our server remebered our order without writing anything down. We wanted to sample a bunch of different things. We had a couple of appetizers- the vegetable basket and the macaroni and cheese - very good. The pizza and stromboli were great. The chili cheese fries were great and what a big plate full. I was disappointed in the philly cheese steak sandwich - the bread was toasted too much. But overall the food was great and the prices were cheap. All this food with drinks were only $50. Well worth the trip.
I have enjoyed going to all of the Five Star Tavern locations. I close to two locations and work by a third, so it is easy for me to be seen as each of the locations during an average week. Each location is set up the same and the service is always great. I have hit royals at all three locations and really enjoy my visits as I relax and play the slots. If you like to relax and play the slots this is a great place for that.
If you are at all into the punk scene this is a must visit while in Vegas. We are attempting a visit to all the best dive bars in the country and were quite happy to add this one to our list. They have bands play, we saw Fozzys hero and were really happy with the atmosphere.
