Some sports fans like to rock up to a bar and cheer on their team. Others live for the traditions: tailgating, party-hosting, and dressing head-to-toe in fan apparel. Here are so…
EXCELLENT FOOD. I adore the chain, but this location itself is sub-par. The waitstaff are nonchalant and the hostesses are rather rude. The guys in the back kitchen were singing as if they wanted to try out for some scaliwag reality tv singing competition. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Honestly this restaraunt needs to revamp their waitstaff but their chef is suberb. I applied to work at another location but didn't get a call, however I am a chef. I guess the waiter thought I was Simon Cowell or Demi Lovato or something because he sang loudly everytime he came by our table. I also called to ask when the chicken and waffle half off special was and got lied to, really not o-k. I think it was the black lady hostess who did that. I don't like game. Not to mention I hate pop music and I'd rather drive to their location on the strip and having it piped into the in-house music system and hearing the waiter (even tho he can sing he has a DAY JOB to do and it ain't singing poptart crap to me) belt out top 40 Idol hits kept me from coming to this location, pretty bad when i'd rather drive to the strip. If this was my kitchen heads would roll.
this is a great location for a family getaway or Staycation during the winter school break if you are in Las Vegas as a local or want a break from the strip. We stayed one night with two elementary aged children. We stayed in cabin 9,which I believe is one of the largest they have. It is located near the office and parking lot but is set back far enough from the road so there is no noise. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the cabin and the amenities. I was not expecting much to be honest, but was impressed as the cabin had two elaborate four poster beds, a two sided fireplace, two large sofas, a flat screen TV for DVDs, a jacuzzi tub and large dining table. The cabin also has a nice balcony/ deck with porch swing and chairs. We enjoyed the serenity, proximity to the Lodge for dinner and beautiful views of Cathedral Rock. The kids enjoyed sledding in Lee Canyon near the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard resort. You can't beat the fact that it only takes 30 minutes from Las Vegas and you are a world away! Bear in mind this is a rustic setting so the furniture is scuffed and hodgepodge, don't expect more and you won't be disappointed.
Five stars for exceptional quality and freshness of the food they serve at an amazingly low price. Who would have thought that you can have an outstanding authentic Hong Kong cuisine good for two to three persons ranging only from $ 5.50 to 7.50 per order. No other restaurant serves this calibre of food at this price range. Not to mention the two friendly people who own this place working hard as servers, cashiers and managers all at the same time. No wonder they are able to manage, keep and maintain the prices of their top-notch food affordable. Instead of hiring and paying for servers, they do it by themselves with amazing efficiency. Lower cost of operation means lower food price. Make sure you go for their " Lunch Specials " which are priced amazingly affordable.Try eating at this place and you'll go home with a happy tummy and a smiling wallet! You cannot go wrong with HK Seafood Garden. If you haven 't tried this place out, you are missing out a lot! Hats off to the owners and Staff of this place for serving as top-notch HongKong cuisine at an incredibly affordable price.
