i completely agree with the few people on here that have lived in this park i recently signed my house back over to the park after they sold it to me with black mold in the walls after i signed my house to them they broke in and stole all of our clothing from jackets to blankets and then left the house open the managers are very rude and talk to people like they are below them do not rent or buy the double wide #28 THERE ISBLACK MOLD IN THE WALLS THE PLUMBING DOESNT WORK AND IT IS UNINHABBITTABLE. THEY KNOW THIS AND STILL TRY TO SELL IT. THE SCURITY WELL WHAT THEY CALL SECURITY SUCKS THEY DONT EVEN PATROLE THE PLACE AND THEY LEAVE THE PROPERTY AFTER THEY SIGN IN. SOME KNOWN DRUG USERS LIVE IN THE PARK AND HAVE BEEN SEEN BY SEVERAL NEIGHBORS AS WELL AS MYSELF SMOKINGB METH OUTSIDE IN THE FRONT YARD WHEN REPORTED NOTHING WAS DONE

This is my first review after living here only 2 months. -->As for young couples and stabbings as one reviewer wrote, I have asked around, and no-one has heard of that. I know they made sure that I am 55 years or older before I moved in. I think it is well maintained, clean pool and club house facilities, and great friendly staff. There may be a cheaper place next door, I don't know if 25 bucks makes that big of deal in most people's lives, if it does, then try going without some of the things that you normally waste your $$$ on like eating out, or watching pay-for-tv, and such. If things change for the worse, or if they get better, as far as how I like Palm Grove, I'll write a new review!
My parents moved there around 1989, I moved there around 2005, and we love it. The manager is a very nice person, but won't take no crap from anyone; and has to be like that in her position (what do you want, Myrtle Manor on TLC?) The park is clean, the clubhouse has a variety of books that you can borrow (or keep) for free. The people are friendly. And I like the fact that the gate is open during the day so if I'm getting a delivery I don't have to give out our gate code. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I think the pool should be open until 10:00 P.M. from June to September.
