Atomic testing was a big part of the Las Vegas area. The museum does a very good job highlighting and show casing what occured during that time. It's worth a stop in if your visiting or even live here - because it's a different museum you aren't use to visiting. Just one slight, I asked a question and the employee was responded in a testy (ha ha, didn't mean a play on words) way. Maybe he was having a bad day, or was sick of answering the same questions.
This trip to LV was specifically made to visit this Museum - it was absolutely worth the time, travel, and expense. The exhibits were well organized and beautifully displayed. Jerry Arriola, Museum Curator, was an excellent tour guide. I would recommend the Las Vegas International Scouting Museum to all who love scouting and all things related. Thank you, Jerry, Maurice Lambert, Fort Worth, Texas
We had a blast here! It was small but really educational and lots to look at! Loved he dinosaur exhibits and the Marine, rainforest, and Africa exhibits.
