I came here looking for Christie as there are a lot of reviews that say she is good. But I missed the ones that said she is bad....and came out with a BAD haircut. I feel like crying....my hair will take a long time to grow out because she cut it so short. do NOT go here for a cut. You will regret it.

If I could give negative stars, I would.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIR, LADIES!!!!
Emilia is AWFUL!!!! I did a trial here with my girlfriend for my wedding (my girlfriend was my bridemaid) and Emilia did an average job using a curling iron. After the style fell out after 1/2 hour, I asked her if she could do the same style in rollers for my wedding day.
THE DAY BEFORE my wedding, I get a TEXT from Emilia cancelling my hair appointment because she is not confident she can do what I want. WHAT?!?!?!??! SERIOUSLY?????
First off, who does that the day before a girl's wedding?
Second, how bad do you have to be as a stylist to not have confidence in using ROLLERS?
I will be reporting her to the Better Business Bureau.
Fortunately I got my hair done at Caesars Palace Hair Salon. They are AWESOME there. I just loved it there....and they made me look like a million bucks.
Emilia, you should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!
(In all fairness, Vision Hair Salon operates with various contractor stylists renting out the space of the salon...so there may be other hair stylists who are good here, who shouldn't be punished for the audacity of Emilia. The manager who I complained to about Emilia was really, really nice and seemed genuinely concerned about Emilia's behavior, which was a good thing!)

I decided to try out Vision Salon & Christie Cox after reading several positive reviews online about Christie's abilities. She really took her time the first time she cut and styled my hair and she was interested in the pictures I brought of the hairstyle I wanted. I was very happy with my haircut and generally had no problems with blow drying and styling the cut myself.
However, I returned for a trim about 7 weeks later and sadly it was one of the worst cuts I've had in years. I dread washing and blow drying my hair now and have bad hair days EVERYDAY. I've had to resort to putting bobby pins and barrets in my hair to go to work. I brought in the same photos as I did for the previous haircut and told her I simply wanted the ends trimmed to cut out old hair color. She said she was only going to cut off a half an inch. I probably lost almost 2 inches which left my hair in a 3-1/2"" bob just barely covering my ears. She didn't blend the cut to the existing layers and didn't wisp the hair near my chin so soften the look. The little short bob makes me look like a little girl (and I'm in my 40's) and not the sort of look I wanted being 7 months pregnant with a face a little chubbier than usual.
I probably would have been happier and perhaps not nearly as dissatisfied by going to Supercuts. At least there the consumer doesn't spend $75 on an unflattering haircut that will cause bad hair days for months.

I usually color my hair myself but decided it was time for a little pampering. Okay I screwed it up a little the last time. So I went to Vision Salon and met Christie for the first time last week.
I've had long hair all my life so after asking her to not cut too much length off, I sat there with my eyes closed practically holding my breath. Well, she did an incredible job freshening my long layers up and she did not cut too much off. She also lightened my 'dark' color by adding highlights. This girl is talented. REALLY talented.
Christie is not only passionate about doing hair, she's very sensitive to the person she's taking care of. She gives the most incredible head and neck massages while conditioning the hair. This girl has it all together. She's exactly where she was created to be.
It may be far for some of you reading this review (it's at least 30 miles one way for me) but Christie is worth every mile.
She constantly smiled, the salon was spotless and SOOO relaxing, and I will be going back often now that I've found Christie. (And YEY I don't have to do it myself anymore because I'm terrible!)

I was nervious about getting a new cut and highlights but Christie Cox worked her magic on me. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to feel and look better! Now she is the only one who I will let touch my hair and even though it is quite a drive for me to get to her salon, I am willing to sacrifice my time and money to get just the right cut and color by Christie. She really knows what she is doing and is so sweet and easy to talk to. I hope she stays at Visions forever because I really like the atmosphere and the owner, Sonny, too.

I went to Vision Salon and was set up with Christie Cox. She wasn't a great hair cutter, but she was cute so I went back a few more times. But she SMELLED. She either smelled like cigarette smoke, old alcohol, or vomit. And she doesnt shave her armpits regularly. That tells me she doesn't shower before going to work everyday. GROSS! What does that say about how she takes care of her equipment and products? A hairdresser should have good hygiene - and not try covering up BO and other bad smells with more perfume like Christie does. YUCK.

This salon was recommended by a friend when I cried for help after someone else gave me a horrible cut. Erica was available to fit me in that day and did a phenomenal job. It's so hard to find someone that knows what they're doing when it comes to more complicated styles. I'll be going here from now on. Thank you Erica!
