  I absolutely love my apartment here. Have lived here for about a year and everything has been nice. :). The floor plan is great. Very clean yard. Haven't found any bugs in my apartment but have seen some scorpions outside due to being next to a desert area which is slightly annoying but doesn't change my opinion about my community. Very quiet, friendly, I don't worry living here. :). Will be signing new lease soon. :)

  I lived here from May 2011-2012 and it…

  I lived here from May 2011-2012 and it is the WORST place ever. The management staff will be extremely friendly when you're interested and giving you a tour and your living there. Then you move in and ANY kindness or politeness or interest in you they showed previous to signing that lease they forget about. I moved in in May and my air conditioning was broken.. in MAY in Las Vegas! They didn't seem to care and were in no hurry to fix that. Also, my washer flooded my downstairs neighbor the very first time I used it and instead of calling me to say they needed to come in or anything...they barged into my apt at 8am without any notice(in May without a/c I didn't sleep in much and had two engineers in my apt while I scrambled to throw some clothes on before coming out to see the commotion..SO rude!).
  
  All this happened in the first month which led me to believe they obviously did not check ANYTHING after the last resident. I wish I could say once we got those kinks out it was done. After the first month for the following few months, every time I tried something new I discovered it was broken. I called several times about my alarm system not working and each time it was "ok, we'll send someone soon" ... no one ever came. I was a single 23 year old girl living alone and they never thought perhaps we should get her alarm fixed after the numerous requests. I went the entire 12 months of my lease with no alarm.
  
  ALSO, I discovered my neighbor was an ex con on house arrest and my downstairs neighbors fought every night. I also saw cop cars in the complex VERY frequently.
  
  In short, I've moved to a new complex on the west side of town and it is phenomenal. Less than $100 more but a thousand times better! Since moving into my new complex I haven't had ANY issues and whenever I go to drop a rent check off the staff greets me by name (instead of the constant, "are you a resident?" that I'd get every time I entered the Sunset Pointe office). SAVE yourself the PROBLEMS and just DON'T move here.

  They seem to rent to just about anybody…

  They seem to rent to just about anybody which is great for some, bad for most. There is no uniformity with who they lease and most importantly where on the property they are placed. There are families that live next to single adults, with this comes little children running around which makes for added liabiltiy and worry. There is no central area for them to play so they dart out into the parking lot, throw balls against walls, etc. etc. It's great for singles or couples the problem is the management doesn't seem to market to such, or frankly doesn't seem to care. They, like most apartment complexes these days, seem to only want 100% occupancy without concern to how their current residents may feel about their new neighbors.

  The apartment I moved into at Sunset…

  The apartment I moved into at Sunset Pointe was infested with large roaches. Pest control sprayed several times but to no avail. The chemicals only seemed to irritate them and cause them to be more active. Unfortunately, the chemicals gave me massive headaches as well. After two weeks of worrying about roaches crawling on me while sleeping, I noticed a live roach in my refrigerator. Afterwards, I felt compelled to move out. I showed substantial evidence of the infestation, as well as the testimony of a fellow neighbor who also had roach problems. Unbelievably, they charged me for the time it took to find a new tenant. I will be filing a small claims court lawsuit for the various penalties I occurred for breaking the lease of an uninhabitable apartment. Sadly, the staff were very friendly and nice people. It is too bad there had to be an infestation of roaches.

  Great Place to Live

  I was surprised that the complex is bigger than it looks. And it is so quiet! I love everything about it - from the friendly staff (both office and maintenance) to the way they keep the grounds!
  
  The fresh flowers are beautiful. Everything is always well maintained and I love the Business Center and use it often. This really has the feel of a community.

  Happy Resident!

  I have been a resident at Sunset Pointe for the past year & it was one of the BEST choices i have ever made. The living conditions here are excellent. The residents who live here are very neighborly. The office staff is very helpful and cooperative! Living here is enjoyable!
