I was swayed to use La Paloma because the vet had worked with them. We scheduled home euthanasia and scheduled La Paloma to provide transportation to the crematory. The individual arrived, was not at all sympathetic. The dogs were transported in the back of a pickup truck. The service we used previously used a SUV and transported our beloved pet in a much more appropriate manner. Although we have learned our lesson the hard way, I'm hoping I can help others prevent the same mistake that we made. <br>When we picked up the cremains there was a box with separate packages of ashes. However, there was no paperwork, which we've always received from multiple places in the past, that provided a mechanism for identifying and tracking the bodies through the cremation process. When asked for paperwork, I was provided hand written scribbles on a blank sheet of paper. We received wonderful care from Compassionate Pet Cremation previously, but were swayed by the vet; I truly wish we had not been.
