The hard rock was better when it was new. Now it looks a bit dated and old compared to the new hotels.
Fun place for sure... And surprisingly great venue for holding business conferences. Rally up your sales team in Vegas and why not at the hard rock?!
The most over rated casino in Vegas, it is more of a bar than a casino. At least they took out old sports book and hired a private firm to run it. They pulled all the good video poker games ,The last time I was there they no longer had the shuttle to the strip, casino is in a weird location.Employees tend to be super rude, they have a lot of attitude, some young people think it is cool to be rude, I don't.
One day I was playing a dollar video poker machine and the one key didn't hold and I lost $25,I called an employee over to check my hand which they can do, he didn't want to check back to see what I was dealt . He kept saying I don't know how you play, I said the missing card was a deuce ,it was a deuces wild game an I said no one throws away a deuce on this game for it is a wild card and can be used to fill in any hand. He must of repeated the same thing to me 7 or 8 times, I don't know how you play, you may throw the deuces away !!!!!!!!! He was super argumentative and combative so I asked to talk to a supervisor, it was only when I told them I wanted to talk to the State licensing commission about the defective machine did they refund my money !
Rooms are okay but expensive.
Restaurants are okay.
Steak house very good.
The only real attraction here is the swimming pool filled with 20 year old gals in skimpy swimsuits.
If you are under 25 you may like this place but the Cosmo,Aria and Palms are the cool places to go know, the Hard Rock is old hat.
What will I remember about the Hard Rock Las Vegas? My smartphone disappearing from the room while I was at the pool, and then having to spend part of my vacation at the Verizon store. Management could care less about it. I got strung along for a week while they "looked into it", and then they wouldn't respond to a simple voicemail about the status of it. Moral of the story? The Hard Rock could care less about their guests, despite the fact my group spent $5,000+ there for the weekend. It is disappointing, and I will be telling everyone I know that they should stay somewhere else.

Went to this place for a WEC MMA fight... the venue is very small, but I like that... you can come in and out of the venue without any issues... walk up to the bar, buy some $12 drinks... outstanding! A couple fights I wasn't interested I headed out to the casino and won a couple hundred.. that's always nice. Long story short... my bitterness stems from the construction outside my room. Ok, I get it, you're remodeling the hotel. But freaking 6:30am start time... in VEGAS? forgedaboudit. i'll try and post a picture...
I Moved To Las Vegas In 2000 And I Went To The Pink Taco In The Hard Rock My Favorite Hotel. Wow Was I Blown Away... I Had JUST Walked Into My Favorite Restraunt The Decore Was Vodoo Meets Low Rider The Wiredest Combo But It Work So Well Together. Also The Authentic Mexican Tortillas Were The Best Too.. Try The Chicken Enchilladas`And The Tortilla Soup...

I just wish I could give the Hard Rock pool 3 fab points. It's LLE, bitches.
The pool is sooo....
The hard rock pool is that one place i just. kinda. really. wanna. love.
I wish I felt love for Relax Pool Parties. I want to give them our highest rating...I just can't.
Now- I know that Relax and Rehab are very different. In fact, I have yet to enter the dangerous, cutthroat world of Rehab. Going to Rehab on a Sunday requires about a 40 pound deficit and 4 inch heels. Relax doesn't require all that jazz- cause it isn't a modeling contest.
But I think I'm not the only one who knows that.
In fact, I think that Relax kinda treats it's goers as C-level while Rehab is treated as quite A-list indeed. Herein lies my conflict.
I'm a local- I want to looovvveee Relax.
And I just do not....
