If I could give Desert Cab negative stars it would still be more than they deserve. Incompetence, errors, distain for their customers, no apologies, no performance, and finally we never got to our destination. These guys are the poster child for why Las Vegas needs UBER. If getting to your destination on time is your objective, avoid Desert Cab like the plague.
I made an online reservation for a cab (easy to do on their web site). They confirmed the reservation with an email (A+) which included all our trip information, and our correct phone number. At this point they did everything perfectly. The perfection ended here.
Ten minutes after the scheduled arrival time I called to ask where our cab was. They informed me that they called to confirm that we still wanted the cab, got no answer on the call and cancelled the reservation. I stated there was no message on our answering machine, and was told there was no machine. At that stage I asked what number they called, and they had called a different number than the one in their email to me. Who knows how they came up with the number, but regardless we had no reservation.
After admitting it was their error they offered no apology and asked if we still wanted the cab. They said they would call back with an ETA for a car. Did not hear from them for 15 minutes so we drove ourselves to a wine tasting which my wife enjoyed, me not so much since I had to drive home. Do not use Desert Cab if you need or want to get anywhere.
