Bowties Tuxedo & Bridal Boutique

The Sales Person at Bowtie's Tuxedo, Lydia, immediately starting writing up my order, as if she knew she had a sale. Although the shop was very well kept, I'm a very cautious buyer. This Tuxedo was for my Son's Fall Formal & I wanted something that looked good at an affordable price. She made a few suggestions, based on questions that she asked & he answered. She was knowledgeable of the Tuxedos at the shop, which I expected, but she also had insight as to the shade of gray that my Son's date was going to wear. She made us feel like she already spoke to my Son's date & had some ideas on what we should rent. She was very professional & friendly. My Son & I liked her suggestions & he tried on a Tuxedo.
While my Son was in the other room, I asked the price. I've already called other Tuxedo shops, so I had an idea what I was looking to pay. Lydia said that the Tuxedo that my Son was trying on, was the most expensive in the shop. Now I was ready to ask her to tear up the rental form. Then she told me the price & explained it in detail. I guess she did not realize, that she had the sale, right after she told me the price. He came out & the Tuxedo looked great on him. There were, of course, some alternations needed, but we discussed them & we were confident that she fully understood what we wanted.
Due to a conflict in my Son's schedule, I picked up the Tuxedo on the Thursday prior to the Fall Formal. My Son tried it on at home & we were extremely happy with the final product. It really felt like it was made just for him.
My Son & his date looked great together. He was also happy, that he was the only one at the Fall Formal with a Navy Blue Tuxedo. I returned the Tuxedo on Sunday; it was a 5 minute drop off, with 2 of those minutes being me thanking them & giving them a photo of my Son & his date. Lydia was hanging up the photo as I was leaving. She said that she will see me when I come by to rent the Prom Tuxedo. Lydia is right again.

My experience at Bowties was perfect! The staff was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. When I tried on my dress, they made sure every inch of that dress was the way I wanted. The alters they did were insanely beautiful and I can not wait to show it off next weekend. They have the best intentions when it comes to how the Bride should look in their gown and they make sure you are 100% satisfied with it or they will help come up with a solution (mine being a built in bra). I can not express how much I appreciate the staff for all they have done for me. BOWTIES ROCKS!

Bowties is one of the best experiences I have had. I did not purchase my dress from their shop and it was a couple sizes too big. Other places I had gone to told me that it was unalterable and it was too much work. When I went to Bowties I dealt with Ana, the dress maker. She was so sweet and helpful and quoted me a GREAT price and was very confident that she could take care of it. I recommend this shop to anyone who needs alterations or a beautiful dress!

We flew in from Seattle, WA to have our wedding in Las Vegas and decided it would be easier to rent a wedding gown than transport it on the airplane and risk it getting ruined/ left behind/ lost/ seen by the groom.

We drove far away from the Las Vegas strip to check out Bowtie's Bridal Boutique for a wedding gown to rent. Our wedding coordinator recommended that we could find one from this place. I was very disappointed on arrival when the salesgirl explained that they only had a dozen or so dresses that could actually be rented. She took me over to a rack and pulled out gown after gown saying they could only be purchased, not rented. After specifying AGAIN that I only wanted to look at gowns that could be rented, she pulled out two gowns in a size 16. I am actually a size 12 (which we found out later that day) but this was the size she "guess-timated" for me, and there was only one that looked halfway decent in my "size" so I tried it on. Of course it did not fit, and after looking at the other rent-able gowns in smaller sizes, which were not very attractive, I felt discouraged so we left and headed back to the strip where I found a beautiful wedding gown elsewhere.

The main issue I had with Bowtie's Bridal Boutique is that they should not advertise that they rent gowns if they only have two gowns that can actually be rented within each size! It was a disappointing waste of time for my family to drive out there to find they only had a handful of gowns available to rent!

Bowties Bridal and Tuxedos have been amazing to work with. They have been very helpful and attentive to my needs. I'm a very indecisive bride and they worked with me to find my perfect dress. My dress was everything I wanted and more. They custom made my dress to fit my style. The day I walked down the aisle I have never felt as beautiful as I did that day. I'm so glad I purchased my Maggie Sottero from Bowties. The Bridesmaid dresses were affordable and stunning. My Groom and groomsmen looked amazing. I was unsure of what I wanted them to wear but Jason made it easy and helped me make my decision. I would definitely recommend this company to another couple.

While being measured for a bridesmaid dress I was told I would need the smallest size they had, then later overheard a sales rep tell another woman to put me down for a size 6. I was also told that due to my height with heels, I would need to pay $75 additional to add 3 inches of length to the dress. When I tried my dress on after it came in I was drowning. The size 6 was CLEARLY too large and slid all the way to the ground if I didn't hold it up. And the 3 inches of added length? Tripped me with every step I took. So, after being fit and measured and told I would need additional length, the sales rep ordered a dress she KNEW would be too large for me. When I took the dress back to Bowties to get an estimate for alterations I was told it would be $48 to have it taken in at the waist, and $65 to have the length hemmed. $113 to fix their mistakes! If they had ordered the correct size, which would have only been a size smaller, I wouldn't have needed to have the waist taken in. And to top it off, they wanted to charge me $65 to hem the length that they charged me $75 to have added?! Ridiculous.

The experience was just okay. I had an appointment to look at dresses and when I walked in the sales lady seemed surprised I was even there. I told her I had an appointment and she said I could look around but she would be a while since she was busy. I looked and found a few dresses I wanted to try but a couple I liked were on mannequins. When I asked if I could try them on she seemed frustrated and asked if I was sure. Yes I replied and I saw her roll her eyes. Really? Your going to act like that around a customer? Even though I found a dress I really like I don't believe I will buy from them. Another customer was having alterations done to her wedding dress and her wedding was in less than 24 hours...I would be super nervous about that...

I had such a great experience at Bowties. They took care of all my needs and had my dress up and ready to go the morning of my wedding. The service there couldn't of been better. They were so helpful and nice, anything i needed they were willing to do. I would recommend everyone to go here to find their perfect wedding dress! I know Idid! Trust me you will not be disappointed! :)

A friend of mine at work got married last year. Her wedding gown was absolutly beautiful. So when I was planning my wedding I asked her where she got her gown. She told me to go to Bowties on sunset. So I went to check it out. They were so friendly. I didn't really have an idea of what type of gown I was looking for. They were so helpful. I tried on so many dresses and ended up with the most beautiful gown. They helped me pick the one that fit my body perfectly and matched my personality too. I was so stressed and they made the biggest decision I had for my wedding..GREAT

I had looked at 3 different bridal shops here in town, only to leave with a bad taste in my mouth. They were all so rude. Immediately after walking in to Bowties, I was greeted with friendly faces. Through the entire process, they were nothing but prompt and kind. My husband also got all of his guys tuxedos there, and we had no problems. My alterations were the most reasonable that I had been quoted elsewhere, and were done in a timely fashion. I reccomend them to anybody I know whos getting married! sincerely, the new Mrs. Jacobs!

put a good review in for this place before I got my gown and what a mistake that was....(I had to log in with a different user name because yellowpages wouldn't let me change my review!!I) The experience picking out the dress was perfect. But when it came to the alterations and getting my dress that was a different story. My wedding was on June 22, 2008 and They had my gown for about 10 weeks to alter. When it starting getting closer and closer to my day I was getting nervous. I kept calling and they always had some other excuse. The lady actually told me "Don't worry we won't let you walk down the isle naked". I was thinking no @#$& not after how much money I spent. They finally finished and called me in for my fitting 48 hours before my wedding. You just don't do that to a bride!!!! So whatever I was happy to at least have my dress and when I am there for the fitting I noticed a HUGE BLACK STAIN ON MY DRESS!!! They kept telling me there was no stain that it was a shadow from the beading. BUT THE WHOLE TOP OF MY DRESS HAD BEADING AND THAT WAS THE ONLY SPOT THAT HAD A SHADOW....GO FIGURE!!!! I was so pissed when I was leaving they wanted me to sign so paper saying I received my dress and was satisfied. I refused to sign it and the lady had the nerve to tell me " IF YOUR NOT SATISFIED I CAN TAKE BACK THE GOWN AND GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK". (I WAS THINKING OF COURSE SHE SAID THAT BECAUSE SHE KNEW DAMM WELL I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO TAKE THAT STAINED DRESS BECAUSE MY WEDDING WAS IN LESS THAN 48 HOURSAND THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS GOING TO GET ANOTHER DRESS MY SIZE AND HAVE IT ALTERED IN TIME FOR MY WEDDING) I ENDED UP HAVING TO GO HOME SCRUB AND SPOT TREAT MY DRESS AND THE STAIN STILL DID NOT COME OUT!!!!! tHIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY DAY TO LOOK BACK ON AND THANKS TO BOW TIES BRIDAL BOUTIQUE IT WAS AWFUL. I WOULD NEVER TELL MY WORST EMENY TO GO THERE THATS HOW BAD IT WAS.

Looking for your wedding dress is supposed to be an unforgetable experience... I went to about 5 different locations in the Las Vegas area and was treated horrible until I walked in to Bow Ties Bridal Boutique. From my first step in the place and my last step out the girls there made me feel great. It was the perfect wedding experience ever!!!
