ARIA Poker Room

We got lost walking back to the bus , and we ended up on the back side of this hotel. Thanks to an employee who was on a smoke break got us in the right direction

I found it to be decent. Shower floods while you're using it. Drain is not an issue, but they didn't slope the floor correctly so I can be a liability!! If you want bathrooms with privacy, this is not the hotel for you. Sage restaurant within the hotel is VERY good. I highly recommend it. Book Zarkana through the hotel and seek a discount. I saved over $100 vs Vegas.com

The four stars are for the posh, modern suites, which are leagues above the tacky granny suites you'll find at Caesars, Bellagio and many of the other casinos on the Strip. One drawback for the Aria is that it's really set back far from the Strip, so you have to haul it if you're heading outside the casino. Also, the adjacent Crystals shopping mall is really cool architecturally, but too high-end and sparse to be enjoyed.

If you have strong scent or perfume allergies, you don't want to go through the entry way or spend anytime in the lobby. The customer service doesn't live up to the room cost - you have to drag you luggage halfway around the front to leave it until departure time.

The food is less than adequate. The buffet is over priced for the selection and food that is hardly warm. Just not that good. The Cafe Vettro wasn't that good even the second time around after I had to send back a French Dip sandwich. The meat was less than warm and tough with soggy and luke warm fries. I won't be back.
