    great for seafood and steak.

    Aqua Knox = Aqua Not

    Provided by

Buyer beware. Despite how the restaurant markets itself, this is not the marquee restaurant at the Venetian. The restaurant charges a hefty premium for food that's only middling. Service is OK. The seafood sampler platter is striking, but simply not worth the price. The same can be said for every other item on the menu. From first hand experience, it's clear that managing partner Tom Bachner puts the business ahead of properly serving customers.\r \r There are many other restaurants that offer a much better overall experience. B & B Ristorante just down the hall puts this restaurant to shame in all respects.

A very nice place for a high end meal

    Provided by

Attended Jan. 21. The initial impression upon entering the restaurant it was very nice....cool colors of blue and purple give the impression of a contemporary environment. The awaiting staff was appropriately attentive; I had asked for a booth with my reservation the day before and would recommend a booth for anyone bringing a date. It feels extremely secluded. \r \r The appetizer we chose the Tuna Tataki and Tartare was excellent with the right amount of heat in the tartare from the ginger and the tuna cooled the pallet in between.\r \r The wine list for glasses was reasonable with a few Pinots and Shiraz on the list.\r \r The main courses were a good portion and flavors were mild yet distinctive. The price of the meal was as expected and compared to a few +150$ meals my wife and I have had back home in Ca. this was well worth it for the experience as well as the food. \r Overall a very good experience with food and service and I would without question recommend the Aquaknox to any going to Vegas

    Great ambience, top notch food

    Provided by

I wouldn't consider Aquaknox quite as innovative as many ""fine dining"" restaurants but the ambience and decor is fun while the raw bar, food, and service is defintely the highest quality. I have eaten soup, salad, appetizer, and main course items and all were very nice - top quality food and often great presentation. If you want a romantic setting there are better places but everyone from trendy folks to first time Vegas visitors to foodies should be reasonably happy with their experience at Aquaknox.

    Could've been better

    Provided by

Excellent food, but inconsistent service. We went there on a recent Monday evening and were hoping to be seated earlier than our reservation time. The restaurant was sticking to the scheduled reservations, so we were told to wait at the bar. We were seated promptly and had good service at the bar as well as from our hostess, but the service from our waiter left a bit to be desired. He seemed more interested in serving his other tables and left us waiting awhile before taking our food orders as well as following up with us. We were there longer than another couple who was seated 30 minutes after my girlfriend and I were! \r \r I also noticed that our waited seemed happier and more intent on servicing his tables where he knew several hundred dollars would be spent, knowing that if he provided superior service to those tables, he'd have a better chance at getting some $$$ tips. I guess he feels a young, well-dressed professional couple in their early 30s who only chose to spend about $150 on their meal (re: my girlfiend & I) weren't as important as older, wealthier couples who were spending $150 on a bottle of wine to go with their meal (i.e., the couple seated next to us)...

    Great romantic spot.

    Provided by

First trip to Aquaknox, enjoyed it very much. When I made the reservation, hostess suggested a booth. Great idea, quiet, slightly secluded and very romantic. Stuffed lobster was worth every dollar. Exceptional service. Stick around for dessert. The chocolate fondue for two was the perfect ending.

Great Place Before an Evening Out

    Provided by

AquaKnox is a great place to start an evening out. The ambiance is as described, kind of night-clubbish, although not noisy like I expected. I recommend sitting in a booth in the middle of the restaurant. You don't have to be too dressed up here; I saw many patrons with jeans on, or dining with their whole family. Service is polite and very attentive, but not formal or stuffy. They hostess accommodated our request for a private booth (many restaurants forget requests such as this if made too far in advance). Food was good, especially the lobster, which is served with warm butter for dipping. The Seared Tuna wasn't as good as I had hoped; it was a bit dry, and served with beans, which didn't compliment the dish.

    Disappointed

After reading quite a few glowing reviews our group of 12 was highly disappointed with most of the fish dishes we ordered. Space was interesting and we were seated in a nice private area.

    Absolutley Awesome!!!

    Provided by

Tom Moloney has topped several Las Vegas restaurants with his awesome cusine. The food at Aquanox excites the palette with some of the best food on the strip, the portions are generous and will have you coming back for more. From the time we were greeted by the hostess, and the great waitstaff, your experience will be unforgetable. Ron Garcia has done a Great Job of assuring your dining experience to be a pleasurable and memorable one. Dallas thanks for the wonderful bar service and drinks. You miss this, you've missed dining at it's ""best"" in Las Vegas. Thanks Tom, Ron, and Staff, will be back soon.

    Cautiously recommended

    Provided by

Airflow is poor and smoke is strong from the bar; request seating by ventilation if you prefer to not smell it. Service is interesting. It's not exactly bad but don't go if you are in a hurry or don't really want to spend a lot of quality time with your guest. My wife and I certainly did not feel rushed. The attentiveness of the staff increased as the night went on so I'd recommend not making reservations for right when they open. Value is mixed depending on what you order but generally low.

    A triumph.

    Provided by

From the moment my wife and I entered the restaurant, we were speechless. The decor of the restaurant is overwhelmingly inviting and gives the feel of dining while in an underwater palace. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server who explained the wonderful shellfish assortment at the Raw Bar. We started w/ the Seafood Plateau (a variety of shellfish including Stone Crab Claws), moving onto one of the finest crab cakes we've ever eaten. For entrees we ate John Dory and the Whole Fish (de-boned tableside), both w/ fresh, clean, powerful flavors. We finished our meal w/ the Chocolate Fondue w/ assortment of fresh fruits. Service was gracious and very warm throughout the meal, making us feel welcome at this new, hot Seafood Restaurant!!
