My friend purchased her wedding gown from the North Rainbow location. They did not have the exact size she needed, so they gave her another dress to try on for sizing purposes. They assured her that the size would be a match for the size she would need for the actual gown. When her wedding gown came in, it was too big. She was the same proportions as before. They have a 'no returns or exchanges' policy, so there was no other choice but to have it altered. The alterations cost almost as much as the dress! We think this is a scam as a coworker of ours a couple of months earlier had the same problem with this location (dress ordered but too big when it came in). We didn't know about this until after she ordered the dress. They only have one seamstress for both Vegas locations. She missed an appointment; admitting she never wrote it down. When calling the Rainbow store about this fact and asking to check to make sure she wrote down the next appointment the woman on the phone was very rude (as if she had better things to do). There were two fitting sessions. When my friend went to pick up her 'completed' gown she was going to try it on and was told there was no need as 'it was perfect'. So, she trusted them and took it home. She tried it on only to find that it was not altered from the first fitting. She didn't have time to return it as she had an out-of-state wedding, so had to leave the next day with a dress that was not altered correctly.
