Most HONEST place to gamble. Yesterday I went to Green Valley Gas Station off of Decatur and Horse, and I put money into a machine, and play dollars, it dealt me 3 Aces on the first hand but for some reason it didn't hold one of them, Then dealt me the ace needed for 4 aces and a kicker, meaning, I was suppose to get 4 aces with a kicker, the middle button has been not working properly on this machine for a while, sometimes it holds, sometimes it doesn't, but because It usually only caused me to loose a pair, I would normally just let it go as if it happened it would be just a dollar or so lost, well because this was a several hundred dollar mistake due to malefaction on the machine, as you can imagine I was upset, so I tell the cashier, they call their gambling dept that runs all their Green Valley Stations Gambling machines, I'll keep all the details short, so what end up happening is they came down, rolled the machines and saw that I was right, had the 3 ace hold it would have given me the fourth ace with kicker, and took full responsibility, owned up, and paid me my money. Going through this experience, I now know their on top of their game, and have complete faith in their business ethics, and will continue to gamble there daily, as this place runs there stores with good business ethics, and above all are honest and fair, you can gamble knowing they aren't cheating customers, or fixing machines to their benefit. Besides being honest with their machines, The manager who works here is also the best manager I have ever seen work at a gas station, she runs this place just a business owner would, and I would know because my husband and I own business' here in Vegas. The whole staff is friendly, and professional. Long story short, I would advise anyone who likes to gamble like me, to skip the casinos, and other gas stations and gamble here at Green Valley Gas Stations, besides them being honest, the machines pay out decent and often, so there not tight like the casinos or other gas stations and their HONEST, they don't cheat you out of your money.
What a great place! The staff are wonderful. I have only gotten gas there a few times(good prices), but my main interest, and now also my fellow employees at MK in the Venetian is there fantastic FOOD! Special coffees (our favorite White Chocolate Mocha Latte), great soups, hot dogs, etc. but the crowning glory is their Pizza! They actually make and bake them there (not frozen) Our favorite is one of their Specialty pizzas, the Chicken Alfredo, or what we call the "White Pizza" Chicken, red peppers, red onions, white cheese and more with a special alfredo sauce. A 16" is only $11.95 and slices are $1.69. They have a menu with many other food choices. You can just call in place your order, tell them what time you want to PU, it' that easy. Oh did I mention they are 24hrs so you can have a great meal going in or coming from work. There are two tables if you want to eat in and the food area is always very clean. Much appreciated. Our special thanks to Inez, what a great lady! and Michael, you're the best! Many thanks from Mk and V at Mk PS they are on the corner of Valley View and Desert Inn
This is such a great store I am so happy I went there. When I first arrived in Vegas I had gone to the bigger Indian store nearby and they had far fewer items, and associates who were unwilling to help. This store may be smaller but it is packed with anything and everything you need for indian cuisine, north or south. And the man who runs the store is always there and is extremely meticulous in his job duties and customer service. He is perhaps the most helpful store associate I have met in Vegas. He took so much time and care to make sure I found everything that I needed and that all questions were answered. I am really only familiar with Tamilnadu and Sri Lanken cooking so I had a lot of questions for him and he answered every one very thoroughly and was such a kind man he really made my day (which hadn't been going very well up until then). He talked to me about ingredients and recipe ideas and nutritional facts of the ingredients.
I've been in two accidents over the past 3 years. The first accident in 2007, my vehicle was totalled and I brought it to Falconi's as a just in case. Between them and the insurance I had never had such great customer service. They essential helped hold my hand thru the process and I felt comfortable. So when I recently had another accident from someone backing into my drivers side front and passenger door, I brought the vehicle back to Falconi's. The liability hadn't been cleared yet, and the staff assured me that which ever insurance it went thru they could handle the work. Two days later liability had cleared, and I brought my vehicle in the following Monday. It took a little over a week to get the work done (both driver side doors), but the fact they took their time with the car and made sure that it was satisfactory was well worth it. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family members.
Wow!!!! I just moved out from Los Angeles, and I can say I have NEVER seen such a high quality car wash in my 41 years of existence…..Dustin N. and Jeff P. worked on vacuuming my car and cleaning it, and it looks like NEW!!! When Jeff came to me to give me the keys he told me that they shined the tires for me as a courtesy because he just did not believe my car should look so clean with how the tires were looking. That was very kind of them to do, and they showed me what they did inside of the car…..it was a LOT of work, and it has not looked this clean since the date of purchase Keep up the great work guys!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place as they are very kind and very diligent on cleaning the cars….I was watching all the employees (they have like 25 or more)….very impressive establishment. Sincerely, Kenny P.
OMG!!! What a wonderful place!! From the ambiance to the exquisite food! Not only was the food some of the best I have ever had in the US, but also the service was terrific. I had an opportunity to meet the owner and his family and from an extended conversation found out they were from my old stomping ground, the Bay Area. What a wonderful time we had well after the restaurant closed. This wonderful family offered much more than just great food...they opened their restaurant 'home' and welcomed my friends and I as new family. Thanks so much, Singh family, for such an enjoyable evening of great food, great conversation, and just a great time! Am spreading the word and hope to return again in the near future.
Great food and service. Being vegetarian, there was a plethora a options, a real treat! My favorite, the mushroom with corn, who would've thought? It was the perfect blend of spice tamed by the natural sweetness of corn. And let's not forget the amazing selection of naans and parathas. They were the perfect texture and amazingly fresh. A must try! The decor and ambiance just right. Not over the top and very inviting with perfect lighting. Not too bright that it's glaring, nor too dim that you need to hold a candle to read the menu (trust me, I have had to do this in other places). I will definitely be making the drive back out from across town because it IS that GOOD!
My wife I went to Safforn - Flavors of India and it was no less their opening night. The restaurant was beautiful and aroma of the Indian food was very compelling. Raj, the owner was a perfect host. We tried several tandoori dishes and the experience was absolutely fantastic. There is nothing like this in the NW part of Vegas. This place can easily compete with anything on or near the Strip. We met the Chef who came in from the Bahamas to help open the restaruant. This place is something special. I could not pronounce a lot of the food names, but it was all a fantastic experience and it was fun. Were bringing friends with us next time. You have to try it tonight.
Clearly the best Indian food in Las Vegas. Not like some other INdian restaurants, this place is a true restaurant. Nice chairs, tables, servers in nice attire and ties, great lighting. Upscale but not pretentious. The owner, Mr. Raja, is one of the best guys in the town at making you feel like family when you come to dinner. And the food is just better than any Indian food we've ever had. It's presented in a sophisticated fashion but still has all the Indian spices and flavors you'd want. We go at least once a week!
"EXCELLENT- the Absolute BEST Garlic Naan, Raita, Samosas we've had - light, great seasoning and right on 'target' - we had the vegetable korma and the mattar paneer - perfect and just the right level of spices. Our favorite Indian is Ajanta in Berkeley and the Red Fort in London - but the Samosa Factory can give either a run for their money. We're looking forward to our next trip to Las Vegas so we can go back twice or three times during our stay - our only regret is that we found it on our last night in town."
