Like McDonalds, GameStops are pretty much all the same. Some are managed better than others though. This one is a bit on the disorganized side sometimes, but the sales guys are pretty nice. Sometimes, when you go in, they are a bit too busy visiting with each other to notice you right away. When you do get their attention, they'll at least have pretty much as long of a conversation with you about whatever you want to talk about too though. They only have games for the newer systems like PS2 and newer. No classic games unless they are ported over to the newer consoles. The best deals here are in their clearance bins which are slightly organized (at least better than the terrible bins at Walmart that make you feel like a dumpster diver). Otherwise, their games are a bit over priced. Even the used games are higher here than they are at Game Haven and Play N Trade. I suppose they have to pay for all that advertising and sponsoring. Sometimes, they have games with "GameStop Exclusive" content or goodies that other stores don't get though, so being the 800 pound gorilla of game stores has it's perks too. Don't get their used consoles though because they don't work on them in-store so they ship them off if something goes wrong. Also, their used consoles are only slightly cheaper than the new ones.
If your looking for a great place to go if your check doesn't come for another week, but your really wanting that new release fast, look no further. Video Game Xchange sets the bar for customer service, prices, and hospitality. When I first went into this shop, I didn't know what to expect. I gave the manager (nice guy who genuinly greeted me not as a customer but fellow game connosieur) my conquered games and waited as he checked them relatively quick of their conditions. When he was finished he told me how much I had earned in store credit and was shocked! Unlike the corporate Gamestop, I didn't get cheated for the number of games I turned in and was able to pre-order the game I've been expecting. These guys are new in town, but I hope they continue to stay in business. This place is the REAL DEAL!
Quickly became my favorite game shop. it has amazing trade-in rates, extremely friendly staff, and nice prices. Adding to the staff, I went to the store with one of my friends, the guy manning the register was chatting with us and cracking jokes, and he was just awesome <3 Definitely recommend this place to anyone :D
I went to Game Xchange today. Not only are the prices good, but so is the variety! I food EXACTLY the game I wanted. I traded in two DS games I finished and didn't play and got one I've been wanting forever. :D My dad even said for Christmas I'll get a PS2 from the store! Thanks Game XChange, you guys ROCK!
You guys are great. They give the best price on trade ins and better price on games and accessories. My kids love to go in their and get their games. My hubby loves them because I can't shop there without a note from him.. I would go broke buying games and systems.
I had a great time .at video game xchange. The employee's that worked there were very nice and helpful and there trade in prices were better than that other place I have been to. If you want fair pricing for your trade go see them at video game xchange.
If you are not sure what to buy your kids, ask these guys (and gal). You just tell them what your child/grandchild likes and they can point you in the right direction. It's better than a personal shopper... their picks have been perfect every time!
I totally enjoyed our trip to ur store..not only we're u guyz nice but had me and my daughter laughing so much.! Can't wait to get our order of SIMS 3! Thanks and c u soon! Jen lynn
I really like this gamestop. It's nice and close to home, they have friendly efficient employees that are knowledgeable about the games and the systems. What more do you need?
This is a great store for used video games. Went there to get my disk repaired, it had scratches. They fixed if for only $3 - very nice people. Highly recommend it.
