I'm thrilled about this salon. Layna is my stylist and I am SO happy that I found her. I had naturally curly hair for nearly 40 years of my life and then tragedy hit my life and I was started on high levels of pain medication that made my hair baby fine and STRAIGHT - poker straight. I try to add color and it goes funky on me, etc. She has been able to find the perfect style & cut that works with my hair and is perfect. No more burns all over my face and cheeks from curling iron burns, as I had never used one in my life and it would take 1/2 can of hairspray for it to last a half-day too - NO MORE. Layna nailed it and I am SO darn happy with the place. Finally, a haircut like guys get - get out of the shower, towel my hair and it dries naturally PERFECT like it always does for guys - no effort and adorable. Thank you Layna for salvaging some aspect of my dignity and making me feel good about going out again and my appearance. I still miss my curly hair and wish I had it back everyday, but until that miracle happens, I'm thrilled with Supercuts and how the place is run, cleanliness, friendliness, etc. Kudos to the entire staff! Another plus - the staff is NOT always changing. I hate that when the staff is unhappy and leave just when you find someone you like - so they must be running it to keep the staff intact - AMEN.
Hazel cut colored and highlighted my hair days before my wedding! She knew exactly what i wanted! She also styled my hair for my wedding and i could…
This is truly a hidden gem in Summerlin! Everyone (and I mean everyone) there is so nice and welcoming! From the time you walk into the very chic salon, you are treated like a member of the family. Michael and Jill have really put their heart and soul into thinking of everything that would make your visit awesome. I had a color treatment with Jill and cut with Lauren and both stylists took ample time chatting with me about likes, dislikes, and expectations. Jill was totally spot-on with what she did. I LOVE the color and it was precisely what I was looking for. I have to say this is the first time that the color was exactly the shade I wanted on the first try. It usually takes a colorist several tries before we get there. Lauren did my cut and blow-dry, both of which were outstanding .. and though she is new to Vegas .. she is definitely NOT new to the hair industry ;) One little extra is they have computers at the color bar .. so while she was putting the color on (and you know how long that takes) I was able to surf the internet, shop, check emails etc! The team at GHH is every bit as talented as they are genuinely nice and caring. I would highly recommend GHH and Jill and Lauren to anyone searching for a color specialist or hair stylist.
I just read the negative review and, while I do think $20 is outrageous for blow drying hair, I've never seen them charge that much. I have long hair and it's about $7 or so. The staff is nice, friendly, and funny! They treat the customers great and there are MANY repeat customers... who I recognize when I go in. My stylist, Jacqui, IS THE BEST! My brother has gone to her for years and I started in December 2011. I used to have a great one somewhere else, but Jacqui knows her stuff and I am never sorry! So you can't go by just one person's expectations and thoughts. And the bigger question... if they ALWAYS went to Supercuts on the East side then why did they go here in the first place. And, to say people are nicer on the east side!!??? I can give you many stories that would negate that!
