Branson Place Apartments

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PERSON! I experienced a number of problems while living at Branson apartments:

- Air conditioner broke and repair man wouldn't fix it until the next day (it was over 100 outside)

- dish washer broke

- washing machine broke

- new washing machine flooded

- Several light fixtures and outlets did not work

- infested with black widows and wolf spiders

- bought and installed two fans (~$100) which I did not get returned or the money the cost me toward my deposit

- Thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed apartments but was still charged cleaning cost

- Electricity and water was NOT switched back over even after someone else moved in and rented the apartment. I was not notified and never would have been. I was forced to pay 2 weeks electricity and water for the NEW tenants.

- VERY poor weather stripping. With all windows shut, you could still see the dust blowing in and under the door.

- Doors to bedroom would not shut properly

- Lease ended on a Saturday but I thought I had to return key in person. When I returned the key the next working day of a 3 day weekend, I was told I being charged for rent 5 days rent.

- Charged non-refundable pet deposit of $150 for a BIRD.

- Charged $25/month pet rent for a BIRD

- Paid over $1000 for two months rent for apartment to be held and only received $50 of my $300 deposit. When I first moved in, the landlord Bobby was very nice, but as soon as I moved out she became VERY rude. She would not hear a word about the misunderstanding with the keys and not charging me the extra 5 days rent, returning my fans, or the fact I left the place clean but was still being charged a cleaning fee. Over all VERY rude person. Do NOT deal with this woman!!! You think giving her $1000 to hold an apartment would show I was a trustworthy tenant, but not according to her.
