Tonight my husband and I visited China Buffet for the first (and last) time. When we got there the hostess/waitress/owner/manager/whatever she is didn't even look up to greet us. Rude. She took our drink order and messed it up (I asked for no ice in my drink due to sensitive teeth). My husband and I went up and got our plates. I love cheese ragoon and the sign above the tray said "cheese ragoon". So I got some of those as well as a few other things and sat down. I got to the (what I thought was) cheese ragoon and took a small bite. There was seafood in it. Crab. I'm allergic to seafood. So I go up and request to speak with a manager/supervisor. I got attitude. The lady that seated us came over to the table and asked how she can help. So I told her the issue. The issue that (if I hadn't been paying attention) could have placed me in the hospital. She rolled her eyes and said "oh. Well, I guess I'll change the sign" and walked off. My husband was entering panic mode now cause I was itching and my face was beginning to swell. So he said "were leaving". I get up and go to the counter to pay and I told the lady that due to their neglect I don't feel we should have to pay for the meal. She kept saying "I'll talk to him. Get him" (him being my husband). Eventually my husband came in cause he saw me getting upset. He got very angry with her and she just stood there staring at us. Despite me telling her how serious the situation was. She said "well, then you need to ask me before taking any food on your plate".
The only reason why they even got one star is because there's no option for zero or negative stars.
