What a fiasco with the USPS! I sent a package on a Wednesday to NY from FL, it was supposed to take 3 days and arrive on Saturday. They sent my package to Hawaii, not once, but twice according to the tracking, it took three times longer to get the package delivered to my family in NY, nine days instead of three, what a huge mistake and waste of time and money. The frustration and their website and all was horrible. Then when you call, they have an hour plus call time to get connected to talk to someone. What an embarrassment to our country to have the USPS handing our mail. Why would they send a package to NY from FL to the west coast or Hawaii for that matter? The tracking was a mess, bad customer service and follow-up, and it took forever for priority mail, something that is supposed to take three days took nine days, it all caused a lot of grief and frustration for us all. Then they wonder why people want to use UPS, FedEx, or DHL. The USPS just cannot be trusted. In the past year, we have had a lot of issues with them, it took more than three weeks for my family to receive a card mailed regular mail from FL to NY. Then my sister sent a card which also took about three weeks, then this with the package being sent to Hawaii(HI). A huge disappointment and an embarrassment for our country to have this type of mediocrity running our mail system here in the USA. The people in this Lantana office were nice when I dropped off the package, but for the USPS to do what they did after was a real trip. What kind of games and joke do the USPS play with its customers? It all really makes you wonder now. This last experience with the mail system here left a real sour taste in my mouth and doesn't make me trust them very well now. I hope they can improve or they are going to lead to their own demise. Please get your acts together USPS! I am praying for you!
