Today I went to Lam's Sweeper shop for the first time and was really impressed. I had attempted to use a small appliance while overseas, thinking it was set up for dual voltage, only to watch in horror as smoke wafted out of the transformer box. I took it in to find out what could be done and was very kindly advised that I simply needed to go to the nearby Radio Shack and purchase a new transformer box. The guy was friendly and very helpful. Given my complete lack of knowledge he could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but I'm happy to say that he simply gave advice (no charge), and pointed me in the right direction. Followed his advice and now my appliance is operational again. Should I ever have any further electrical repairs or queries, I'll definitely be going back.

I love this canister vaccume. I think one of the things I like the most is being able to control the suction. With the turn of a dial I can lower the suction and vaccume my throw rugs, then back to turbo suction to vaccume my hardwood floors (with a small brush that pops out with a foot button) Do another filp and it is ready to takcle carpet. The angle of the wand is wonderful, you can go way under furniture. I am so happy with my new vaccume, and so is my husband because now I do all the vaccumeing. Thank you all at Gall Sewing & Vac Center you were very helpful in helping me chose the vaccume, no pushing and bugging, just gentel answers to my questions. Thank you again
They were very nice to me after a bad experience with another sewing shop and I'm extremely thankful to have found them and be treated so nicely AND was told they will put a rush on my order. What would normally take a week, will take a day, which is important because I rely on my sewing machine for my small business. Their prices are awesome, too. VERY nice shop- I didn't get my sewing machine there til late and they said it may not be ready til Monday. I need my machine! They told me I can use a loaner if it's not ready today :)
