        Established in 1970 by Master Jae Kim We offer one of the best karate instructions in the MD, DC metropolitan area. If you have a desire to learn martial arts, TaeKwonDo is one of the fundamental and simplest forms that is a must learn for all beginning martial artists. The benefits of martial arts are infinite. Kim's Karate has trained over 100,000 students of all ages (5-70 years old). Our Greenbelt Location started in 1986, Master Navid Shahraki, Owner and Head Instructor, has over 20 years of experience in Martial Arts. All of our Instructors are Black Belts, who strive for excellence in every aspect of Martial Arts. We train all of our students in every component of their lives, including academics, moral values, mental toughness and physical fitness.         Overall

        Greetings I am Johnnie UDELL Douglas one of master Kim's first black Students when he had dojo in down town Baltimore over top of old Greyhound bus company. I started at 5 and received my first black belt at 13 I was then and still passionate in Martial arts Kim is the best and I was sad to hear he moved back to Korea But my memories of him are great.Love you as one of my mentors and role models
