Anesthesia Associates at Lancaster General Health Women & Babies Hospital

Ignore the first reviewer's complaining, not even town has a huge level one hospital. However this place has been like a resort since the day they opened. The food is amazing, the ENTIRE staff is above and beyond awesome!

I'm not sure why the first reviewer claims she had such a bad experience, but our experience with two babies in 2009 and 2014 were both excellent. In fact, Women and Babies is widely recognized as the premier birthing hospital in Central Pennsylvania, and regionally, I know many women who choose to have their babies here and are very happy with the decision. The doctors were friendly, the staff was caring, and the suites and food were awesome! Compared to the supposedly "upscale" hospital our second child was born at in California, Women and Babies is a dream. We highly recommend it, especially to those women working directly with LGH affiliated doctors who can plan their deliveries ahead of time. We used Lancaster Physicians for Women, and we love the doctors there too!

when i had my 5 yr old i was forced to go to women and babies as at that time there was no other hospitals to deliver at. well i went into labor i refused all types of iv's and everything (and they cannot by law force you to have it) well.....THEY held me down shoved the iv in my arm told me if i take it out they are going to put it back in, stopped my labor, sent me home at 4 CM telling me i could come back in an hr to a week. well i ended up back there the next day and they were nice as ever after i threatened a law suit if they dare touch me cuz i had witnesses with me as to how they treated me. and i couldn't stand being there i just wanted to get out. i think there service and everything else has a lot to improve on and luckly haven't had to deliver there again as i refuse to step foot in there i'de rather deliver in a car than go there. i think they are disrespectful and caused me a lot of problems and pain.
