Overall a decent experience. The food was very good, and the steak was excellent. However, we had a reservation and they did seat us right away we were right on the edge of the bar with a lot of people waiting for tables. I could not talk to my wife on our date across the table from me with basically shouting. And our waitress could not hear us either. Everything we ordered was follow by "what?" My only other complaint was the way they are priced. They charge you separately for everything, salad to sides to compliments. Everything has a separate price. That way you rack up quite a bill for things like your salad which is usually included in the price of your entree. But they would be glad to serve it to you as if it was. Watch out for that.

I've eaten at nearly every cheese steak joint in town but there is only one "Philly's". Hands down... These folks have the best cheese steaks in Denver. I ate "The works" at Philly's and it rocked! More cheese, more meat and more veggies than any other place I've eaten at before. These folks don't skimp! The flavor was incredible. The service is very fast and the people that work there are extremely friendly. I felt very relaxed and welcome. Talk about clean....I rarely find places to eat as clean as Philly's. All in all it was a supremely pleasant dining experience. I tell everyone about them! You will too!
My friend and I drive for half an hour across town to eat here. I have no idea what a cheesesteak is "supposed" to taste like, but "the works" is delicious. We also like their onion rings and french fries.
