Villa Manor Care Center

As an employee of this facility not much good to say. The staffing is never within state guidelines. Always short staffed so the residents suffer from poor care. Most residents, unless physically able, never get proper oral care, showers are often missed due to poor staffing. And management cares about one thing, staying under budget. I've been in nursing over 20 years, and this facility is the worst managed that I have expierianced. Dont be fooled by the fancy decore. Look at the appearance of the residents. Men rarely shaved, oral care never provided.

The newly remodeled place is beautiful. My aunt was here for rehab. She was treated better then another new place close by here where mh aunt was treated poorly..but villa has a great staff ..good food...a great gym. My aunt even baked some cookies in the rehab kitchen.

I recently toured Villa Manor Care Center as I was trying to find placement for my mother, and I found it to be one of the best facilities around. I had also toured many other nursing homes in the area and none compare to Villa! Villa Manor has a beautiful water feature outside the front entrance and a warm and welcoming foyer. We were greeted by a couple of well groomed and friendly residents who were sitting in the front lobby. They shared with us that they love their home and think of the staff as family. As we encoutered the staff through our tour we found them to be very friendly and they all had smiles on their faces, unlike many other nursing homes that we looked at. The person who gave us the tour shared with us that many of the staff members from nursing to housekeeping have been working at Villa for more than 20 years. I think this says a lot about the staff and management of the building. My mother has been living at Villa Manor for more than two months now and everyone has been great, from maintence and laundry to the dietary staff and nursing and rehab. We could not have asked for a better experience for our mother. The staff has been very diligent about meeting all our mother's needs as well as ours. I highly recommend Villa Manor Care Center!

I have had a family member in this facility recently and had a very bad experience with them. Just to name a few, she was left alone for 3 hours after they dropped her off before anyone even said hi. She was forced to eat very cold food (that should of been hot) her whole visit of 1 and 1\2 weeks. She only got bathed one time the night before she left, even after I and her Dr. complained earlier in the week. The sink in her room leaked onto all of her cloths in the closet, when she told them they said nothing was wrong. The sinks in the bathrooms did not work. Any ways if you have a choice don't go here.
