I walked into this shop four years ago this fall and hadn't a clue and knew so little I didn't even know how little I knew. Cheryl had just bought the shop THAT day. She's been fantastic to me. She accepted me where I was in the process and has been gently encouraging ever since. I live in the mountains more than three hours away but consider this my LYS. I haven't taken a class as I live so far away but I hear the are great. They have a great selection of yarns for all different needs and price points. I love the big table and all the conversation that goes on. This is a great store.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a wide variety of courses. They have yarns for knitting, crochet, and weaving. The owner is also community conscious - there is a service project meeting every Thursday that contributes afghans to a local shelter, plus there was a hat project for our troops too! Once a month there is a knit night on a Friday.
This is very store is a nice place to meet people though a class. Staff are knowledgeable about textiles .The owner of this yarn store is always willing to help when you are stuck on a project.I was stuck half way with one of the socks I was making the owner sat down with me and got me back on track. Never once did I feel that was in the way or being a pest. I started out with a begining knitting class. Now I am up to making socks!!! Great classes wonderful staff! I just love this place!
