Lakeway Resort and Spa

The hotel clergy is not friendly and did not inform is well. We were 4 adults and they put us in a room with a king bed and a twin roll up bed. The bed was extreamly uncomfortable. Finally the only person that helped us with the room situation was Lester at the front desk.
The hotel didn't have food options at all, there's not many places close by to go eat so you are forced to order room service or go to the hotel restaurant. Both very expensive. Food not good specially for the price.
We were supposed to get bands to wear the whole time we were there. We didn't get the bands.
When we went to the pool a security stopped (only us) to ask if we were staying at the hotel (FYI hotel is secluded so the only people in the hotel are the ones staying at the hotel so there's very low possibilities of us not being guests) A lot of people didn't have the bands.
The rooms didn't have refrigerators and there was no microwave on-site.
I asked the person that helped me with our bags and they actually delivered a refrigerator and the last day they delivered a microwave. Which is one of the only things that was nice. But what was upsetting was that the front desk clergy never offer any information about the place when we check in, they didn't let us know that if we needed a fridge or microwave to please ask for it. No information was given at check in. Only room number.
Pool area and view is very nice but there's nothing else to do. If you have kids the only activity is the pool and they do have a kids area where they have games and inflatable castles but in order for them to go there you have to pay $10/per hour/per kid!!!! Plus you have to pay $5/per hour/per adult just to accompany the kid!!! Outrageous!
Other than that there's nothing else to do. There's a Spa, off course, but every resort has one... Nothing extra.
The overall experience was not pleasant.
Wouldn't recommend it.
