Salon Jannabelle's Bridal

This place is not even a 1 star. Extremely rude and unfriendly. Had no sense of customer service. My tuxedo was stained in two places and I received no compensation or even sympathy. This place relies on the bride and groom to tell the bridal party the tuxedos are ready... seriously?? We live in the 21st century, ever heard of an email? or a phone call or a text? Absolutely horrendous. Pay the extra money and go with men's warehouse.

I am a Bridesmaid preparing for an upcoming wedding. The bride has chosen the bridesmaids' dresses and needs us to order it through a salon where she ordered her wedding dress. I am from out of town and therefore needed to find a salon in my area that will take my measurements so that I can send it to the Bride's salon for ordering. Upon arrival at Jannabelle's Bridal Salon, I was honest with them, telling them I only need measurements done because I need to order a dress through another salon that is out of town. The moment I walked in to this salon, I did not feel welcomed, and after I told the young woman I only needed measurements taken, she was very rude. I do look young for my age, and I am a very nice and polite person (maybe to a fault) because in this case, the salon worker/owner made me feel like she could walk all over me. She gave me a long lecture on how "it is a liability" for her to take my measurements without me ordering the dress through her. This lecture was very belittling and shocking. There is no liability for her to take 2 minutes to take my measurements. She refused to do it because she knew that I was not buying the dress from her. I simply nodded through her lecture, told her "Thank you", and exited her salon. She needs to realize how powerful "word of mouth" can be. I am also at an age of being in many weddings as a bridesmaid and having one of my own. This is not the way someone should be treated in a bridal salon when they are preparing for a loved one's very special day.
