Touch of Sweets

This place is AMAZING!!! My friend's mom was buying my wedding cake for me and we went to Jaroch's bakery at first. SHe grew up going there but hadn't been there in years...we were very disappointed...the told us they couldn't take the nuts out of their carrot cake recipe. So my best friend, who doesn't like when people tell her no called around and this lady from Touch of Sweets was willing to see us last minute....she was amazing, the cake was amazing and the cake turned out beautiful. They also give you a free anniversary cake so you don't have to eat freezer burned cake to keep the tradition. I had absolutely no problems getting my free cake and it was just as wonderful as m wedding cake. We are for sure going to make it a tradition to get all of our special events from there!

After hearing about this bakery from a friend, I decided to try it and have been ordering cakes for all my special occasions since. Friends who have eaten these cakes have asked about the bakery and I have referred them and they in turn now use the bakery as well for their special occasion cakes. The favorite is a round double layer ..... strawberry for one layer, custard for the other layer with yellow cake and whipped cream frosting. There's something about that particular cake that has people eating every tiny crumb (even with tons of other deserts on hand). The polish lady who owns the place can use a class in etiquette towards her customers ... but I go for her baking, not her personality. Also, a side note ... I ordered Easter decorated sugar cookies and they were heavenly!!!!!! Pricey, but worth it.
