Laura began her hairdressing career in California 1976. She has experienced the Sassoon Geometric styles of the 70‘s and early 80‘s, shaggy hair, rocker hair and the big hair of the 80’s.,the shags,pixie cuts and smooth flat hair of the 90’s,the Meg Ryan cut, the Jennifer Anniston cut, every type of bob, and all the hair color that went with those styles.She loved every style decade and all the training and education that it took to learn it all. In 1994 she moved to Oregon and began working in Lake Oswego. Bella Lena Salon opened in July of 2000. Her goal was to have a salon where stylists and guests enjoy themselves. Bella Lena is a highly creative, team based atmosphere, where all the stylist are well trained in haircutting and hair coloring. She has trained all of her stylists and numerous apprentices.
