My daughter gave my husband and I a spa for 2 package for Valentines day I called to schedule an appointment 7 days in advance and they stated they were booked the lady gave me an appointment for 2 weeks and I was fine with it being that my husband is a truck driver and that will give him enough time to request the day off she booked us for March 7th We get to Heathrow and couldn't find the location so I called Fawn Feather and when I asked where exactly they were located she told me that she apologizes but she would have to cancell us because both the person that does the massage and the one that does the facials called in sick.. Are u serious.. We were really looking for this day and then she couldn't reschedule us alot of buts.. So I called my daughter and told her the experience and she was calling to get her money refunded. I'm sure they heard it from my daughter. But if that's they way they do business where they schedule and then don't call to cancel and wait for people to show up at their door they definitely need to be shut down.. Will not recommend

I had booked a spa day with my friend and we both showed up last Saturday and a sign on the door stated it was closed. No one tried to call me or let me know it was cancelled. I also called the day before to confirm and left several messages. Still no return call. At the very least the spa should have left a message on their answering service that they would be closed. How hard would that be? Based on this, I will never use them in the future or recommend them to my friends in the area.

Fawnfeathers is a great spa. Their biggest problem is that they offered a fantastic groupon and got a huge response. My experience was wonderful, except for the nasty clients who were hateful to the employees there. You would have thought that these people had paid double the actual value of their services instead of less than half. While I was there I heard a lady yelling and cursing at the spa manger because she had to wait 5 minutes in between her massage and her facial. This is supposed to be a relaxing day, if you are in a rush to get out then you have no business going to ANY spa. I also do not understand what I read on here about Fawnfeathers not having robes. There were robes in the dressing room, and I was offered a robe by several people. All of my services were fantastic and I left a very happy person. The girls were very nice and personable. You can not treat someone like that just because you bought a Groupon for DIRT CHEAP and you think that entitles you to be bowed down to. Please use caution when reading these reviews. There are some people who will never be happy, and those are usually the ones who write a review. Amanda, the spa manager was very nice and went out of her way to ensure our comfort and happiness. I would definetly recommend Fawnfeather!!!!

I purchased an amazing spa pac...

I purchased an amazing spa package (value $249) on Groupons for $79. I bought two. One for me and one for a friend. What a disappointment! When we arrived, they did not offer robes, the 50 min. massage was only 30 min. My friend's was the same. The facial was only a partial and did not come with extraction as it said it would. My friend's was the same. The pedicure was to be a signature pedi but we both only received the express pedi. Lastly, lunch, which was the highlight of the visit, sat for over 30 min before I was able to get to it. The TBLT sandwich was delicious, however, it said it would come with fruit and showed up with fries. My friend's was identical. Needless to say, 30 min. cold fries are yucky! Also, the manager convinced my friend not to have his wash and style (part of the prepaid package) simply by the way she posed the question with a snotty attitude making him feel silly for doing it. After seeing the spa sold over 900 Groupons it seems apparent to me that the director is looking for ways to save money. Sadly, nothing but disappointing!!! Also, I tried on each individual service to let that person know I wasn't receiving what I paid for and received only excused and non compliance.



For the services they did provide I would have been happy giving three stars as it was average, but the fact that they had deceptive marketing practices/dishonest follow through I bumped them down to one star.



I don't enjoy giving such a negative review but hopefully this will open their eyes and give the rest of the people who purchased this deal exactly what they paid for when they come in. They don't want 900 negative reviews from people who feel they were ripped off.



Also, I don't know if this is the same management that responded to the other reviewer a couple of years ago, but I DID express my complete disappointment at the counter prior to leaving and have yet to have any response, apology, remedy or the like. (Times two!)

Best Customer service EVER!!

I went to Fawnfeather last night for a ladies night with several members of my church and was overwhelmed with the best customer service I have ever received at a salon!!! Everyone was very helpful and made the night very special!! I got a pedicure from Gina and she did a great job! She was very nice and even gave me the left over lotion for my extra dry feet ;) I have already scheduled another pedicure with her in a few weeks and can't wait!! Christina did my manicure and she is probably one of the sweetest girls I have ever met! She was so nice and did a great job on my nails!! I will definitly be returning and am already hinting to my husband for a nice mother's day package as a gift!!! The customer service was over the top from the reception desk to the ladies doing the services! Fawnfeather is an upscale salon with a down home feeling!!! Thanks again ladies!

I found most of the stylist and the Greta (the world's best Esthetician) at Cascata and one of the other stylist is at Shear Bliss! There is no reason that we as customers have to suffer through poor services because of the Owner/management!! I used to enjoy going to that place, but it's def not the atmosphere and level of service that it used to be.

New Management - Worst Staff!

I have been a very satisfied customer of Fawnfeather Spa and Salon for THREE years. Since the new management have taken over, it has been diabolical. The staff are unfriendly and unprofessional. I turned up for my appointment and had to wait for my aesthetician to finish getting her acrylics done. Her hands then stunk of nail glue - which is disgusting when she is working on my face. She went to clean up my lashes and dropped adhesive remover in my eye. Extremely painful. I had to flush my eye for several minutes and when the pain did not subside, I walked out - canceling every future appointment. Such a shame - it has always been such a great spa and I went on a weekly basis. I will never return. I hope I find the old staff at another local salon (it is not only the clients that are engaging in a mass exodus), as they really had their act together before. The past three years, they deserved awards they received on an annual basis for their great service, great staff and highly competent staff. This year, I am voting them as the WORST spa in Lake Mary!

Not a place to get a wax!!

This was the worst experience that i have ever had when it comes to getting a wax "down there." I went in for a bikini wax and ended leaving with a sphinx. I told them to leave a little strip on each side as well as the top and they couldnt make a straight line and they messed it all up. Because of this uneven mess i told them to just take it all off so it wasnt uneven and didnt look like crap. Definitely not the place to go for a wax if they cant even make a straight line. Not only was it a horrible experience but it was more painful then i have ever experienced. When she waxed she didnt make it fast, she waxed little areas at a time rather than a couple bigger areas which makes the process quick and less painful. She also left a lot of wax as well, which i had to clean up when i got home. They need to get someone that actually knows how to wax those "down there" areas. Her name by the way was Shanee...

We received Lisa's numerous anonymous emails regarding this one situation. Once we were able to determine who received the service by process of elimination we sent a gift certificate for her to try a different service provider as she never mentioned the problem before leaving the spa that day. Our spa is known for being one of the best places in the area for waxing 'down there.' We use the highest quality azulene wax and soothing after wax products. Our spa also offers numbing cream for those who are particularly sensitive to waxing. We do a thorough consultation card prior to waxing to determine what needs the guests may have. Our technique is to do smaller areas at a time, which most of our clients find to be less painful than removing huge patches of hair. This is one of those services that has many different techniques that can be used; we literally have never had a complaint about our technique due to the fact that our team is so highly trained in this area and must complete certain requirements before even being allowed to do waxing at our spa. If in fact the waxing was not perfectly straight that is unfortunate, we apologize and we do appreciate feedback to ensure that future services are perfected. We wish that this guest would have taken the time to let ownership know of her concerns which would have been addressed promptly. By posting Shanees name in an attempt to harm her reputation, I am not sure if the punishment fits the 'crime' so to speak. We would like to let other guests know that we always appreciate feedback and we welcome phone calls directly to the owners and managers so that any/all perceived problems or concerns can be handled professionally. We stand behind Shanee's quality of work and we hope that this review will not do harm to her reputation as we receive continual positive feedback from her guests.

The best day spa in the area. Staff and owners are wonderful to everyone. My daughter went there for her 10th birthday. I was skeptical since she was a kid and was afraid she would not be treated well. My fears were unfounded. Great place for adults too

Voted Best of for a Reason

This place is constantly voted "best of this" and "best of that" and I agree! The staff is super friendly and no matter who does your hair or massage or whatever, it's always great. I like the fact that I can walk in there in my sweat pants or a suit after work and I still get the same treatment and feel comfortable. I used to love to try new spas all over town just for new experiences but now I'm hooked on FFS&S.

I'll make this simple and to the point - Pam and Adele - the nail techs/artists here are truly professionals! Myself and my daughter have had the pleasure of working with both of these experienced gals. Our acrylics have never looked so amazingly natural, not to mention the fact that they last despite my hectic lifestyle! Top Quality! We get Pedi's alot too - Friday night Martini night GALS!!!!!!!!!

Awesome hair color!

simply put......FF S&S is a great place to go if you want your hair color to be incredible. I just got a brand new cut and color. It was my first time there - i just moved from Chicago. It was everything I asked for and I can be really picky. I learned so much about how to take really good care of my hair at home and got a whole bunch of styling tips.

Would recommend to everyone!

Most people think that a guys haircut is a simple thing....well I am a bit on the "metro" side, and a perfect haircut is what I want. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me just that. The atmosphere is exactly how I like it - laid back and REAL! Everyone is really accomodating and have great sense of humors. It is definitely a cool salon and spa, not to mention the family that owns it being really top notch people. As far as the guys go - this place is totally cool for us - you won't feel like your the only guy in a house filled with catty women.....EVERYONE is awesome. Also, the Massage therapy dept rocks. Ask for Jaime! Thanks again!

The best experience EVER

I walked into this spa expecting it to be like any other I visited. Boy, was I wrong!!! The girls at the desk were great, friendly and attentive. They made me feel like I was an old friend. My hair stylist Jamie was fabulous. She used techniques I had never seen before, and my hair looks great. I then had a manicure and pedicure with Pam. It was a speical one they call Milk and Honey. Wow, it smelled awesome. I didn't know how great a manicure and pedicure could feel. I also had a facial with Greta and a massage with Leslie. The best massage I have ever experienced. Greta showed me different ways to take care of my skin at home, and it has made a big difference. The service was unbeatable, and along with my spa day, I was given lunch and wine. If you are visiting the area, or live near this spa, it would be awful for you to miss out on this experience. Make sure to say hi to Gina at the desk. What a hoot she is!! I cant wait to come back for my next appointment. I am telling everyone I know.

BEST massage and experience

I was blow away by my experience. Upon my arrival I was greeted pleasantly by their recetionist and offered a drink. The massage was incredible. Leslie was personable and made me feel comfortabe. Having a stressful job then coming to Fawnfeather directly from work was a real treat. I would HIGHLY recommend you going to see these guys. AWESOME!!!!!
