Both of my grandchildren have attended CCS almost since the beginning. It's an amazing facility and they truly love it there. I've NEVER seen a school where the children really care for and support each other the way they do at CCS. There are a couple of handicapped children there who are loved, supported and treated no differently than the other students. My granddaughter has a learning disability that affects her speech and the thought of the pain she would suffer in a public school breaks my heart to even think about. At CCS she is loved and supported by the other children; never teased or made fun of. The school regularly has family events; Grandparent's day, Thanksgiving dinner, all sorts of events that bring families, staff and children together, along with special events that celebrate the talent and accomplishments of the students. I know this school from the "inside" and I know how much each teacher truly loves their students and, more importantly, how very much the children love their teachers. These are relationships I NEVER saw with my own children who attended public school. I thank God every day that my grandchildren; especially my g.daughter with learning problems, are in a place where they are supported and never teased - for that is not allowed at CCS. These kids truly do love each other and that comes partly from the love they receive at school. I appreciate CCS, the teachers who love my g.children and the students who love and support each other. And, by the way, most importantly, their education is based on Biblical principles - taught by EXAMPLE, every day. Please consider that there are always people who have negative attitudes about everything. Check out CCS for yourself - meet the teachers and other leaders - make up your own mind - just don't make a decision based on these very negative comments. Listen to someone who knows many of the office staff, the teachers and sees the love they feel for their students.
Wanted to write a quick review. As a personal development and performance speaker and author, I have had the privilege to speak 17 years in many industries. I was brought to Covenant Community school to work with the students and staff on a couple of occasions. I was surprised at the development of the children. I worked with students from ages 7-17. What I discovered and what stood out to me was how highly relatable the children were, as well as a passion to learn and excel at being there best selves. I noticed the care and dedication of the administrators and staff as they personally gave attention and focus to assisting the children in an education that would work in there everyday life. The teachers and staff were highly innovative in their approach to help these children go beyond their perceived limits and maximize their abilities in the way they learned best. The teachers I worked with at the school were excited to personally grow in their approach to be excellent educators that lifted the performance of their students. This excellent spirit was prevalent throughout the school! I would eagerly send my children to this school if we lived in that part of the world. Hope this helps people see the value this school brings to families.
I truly LOVE this school! Everyone is family there. If your child starts there the students do not pick on them they make them truly fill at home. Do not believe the negative thoughts on here. Yes you need to pray about whether you need to go there. It is all in God's will where you need to go! God has really blessed me and my family while we attended there. The teachers take extra care to make sure their students excel in every subject. Majority of the students come in with lower grades and complete the year with much higher. They do truly strive for excellence in their students. This school is dedicated to the Lord and their students. CCS is not about money it is about ministering to the community and trying to make a difference in the world. I love the school, staff, and students more than you can ever imagine. God has put this school in my life and yours to make an awesome impact. God Bless CCS!
