After the last few years of people continuing to lie on/about my husband, Sean, I feel it's time I address the situation. Sean has been tattooing for over 20 years, 15 of which have been at our current location. I have seen thousands of people come through the door over the last 5 years; some have come in under the influence of alcohol others on drugs and some with an attitude because they heard he's "mean". I cannot begin to imagine how many Sean has seen over the last 15-20 years. These people are quick to get online a post a negative review of Sean and say how "mean" he is or how he "doesn't like black people" or "doesn't like gay people" or "does illegal drugs" or "doesn't use new needles" or "doesn't do good work or messes up tattoos". I believe his work speaks for itself and encourage everyone to look for themselves on Facebook. There have been countless times the person never talks to Sean, only to me, and they still have negative/outlandish things to say about him which is ridiculous. If you come into our place of business or call our business with an attitude, or under the influence and we have to deal with you and your attitude/condition then you will be handled accordingly. Yes, we will refuse you business if you call and play on our phone or come in and act up. I am not by any means saying my husband is an angel or the nicest man in the world but I am saying that if you call or come in with a "problem" then you will leave with a bigger one. We will NOT conduct business with ANYONE who walks into our establishment with an attitude, drunk or high. So, please do yourself and us a favor and go elsewhere. When we refuse service to people for whatever reason we then see the "true" person and how easily it is for these individuals to make up stories and lie on him, as well as on me. I have even had the police called on me...yes me when all I do is greet the customer and help them the best I can. It is sad that some people are so miserable in their own life that they have to try and cause misery in our life. I am saying it for everyone to know and understand that we will NOT allow ANYONE to cause misery in our life! I want to thank all our thousands of customers who know the truth and who stand behind Sean and I; we truly appreciate each and everyone of you. Belinda Solomon

This shop is awesome! From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Connor at the front desk you are made to feel as if your tattoo is the only one that matters. If you're a walk in and have to wait there is a pool table to occupy your time and a huge flat screen to watch tv with very comfortable couches to sit on until your artist is ready for you. Aaron was my artist and he did an AMAZING job of fixing an old tattoo that I had done at Ricky's years ago. He also tattooed my deceased husband's name on my ring finger. I love his work so much that I allowed him to tattoo a memorial piece on my 16 year old daughter's back. I can't wait to go back and have him design a tattoo using his new black light ink. Unlike alot of places, Aaron has 121 different colors for you to choose from, so the sky's the limit as far as color is concerned. He's got an outstanding imagination and is capable of doing ALL sorts of tattoos. No matter what kind of tattoos you're into; old school, new school, pin ups, tribal, religious, color, black and white, lettering; he can do it all, custom work and flash alike. His work is limitless. He's got a very light hand, so the pain is minimal. He's also got an exquisite bedside manner; he makes every client feel at ease and comfortable. He's very professional, and the nicest artist you could ever ask for. He also does amazing body piercings. If you can pinch it, he can pierce it. He's got 12 years of experience in tattooing and body piercing and it shows. There's also a new addition to Skin Deep, his name is Ryan. He's young, but super talented and professional as well. He, like Aaron, treats each and every client with the utmost respect and care. I would recommend these two artists at Skin Deep to any and everyone...Give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed!
My opinion of Skin Deep is somewhat iffy. I love the people there, even though Connor, the only piercer there, quit and began working with someone else. The art on the walls is beautiful, and I have seen plenty of amazing work done by all of the artists working there. Even though I seem to be talking so highly of these people and their establishment, I am annoyed with the work I have gotten done. Eddie is a great guy and has done some awesome work, but the tattoo I paid him to do was not done properly. It isn't that bad, but it could have been better. The lines are not as solid as they should be, and the tattoo itself is not completely straight, but that could have been as much my fault as his. Connor, who I absolutely adore pierced both my tongue and did my industrial in my left ear. The tongue went smoothly. He made sure everything was sterilized and the needles came directly from their individual packaging. My industrial was a different story. Unlike most professional piercers, Connor does not mark where he is going to pierce and show you to see whether or not you are okay with it. He pierced the top hole of my industrial very far up, causing the barbell to be very close to the cartilage at the top of my ear, which is not how an industrial should be. I had to fix this myself. Why I didn't do the entire piercing on my own is a mystery to me.
